Option One Mortgage Corporation Foreclosure not once, but twice in a row, for what reason we do not know.... paid almost 30,000 in two years, and they don't think that is enough for 2 years, our normal payment was 562.00 they now charge 1145.82 and it's not enough . Irvine California

In 2005 we were given the choice of leaving our home or paying for 1 year of foreclosure, we signed the contract to pay $1145.00 for 1 year and after that time our original payment of 562.00 would go back into effect. our payment was to begin in Sept of 2006 we were sent a letter stating that we were in breech of contract and would have to be in forclosure for 1 more year, we paid a reinstatement fee of $2200.00 plus $1145.00 for 12 more months which we have we have not been late in over 2 years and yet we are still being kept in foreclosure why don't know we do feel we are being robbed .,

We made our sept. payment and it was denied by option one saying we had once again broke contract, their comment was we had missed a march payment but were just being told of this in sept like a company would wait that long to remind you but none had been missed. from there i requested that option one send me a print out sheet of all payments made. i recieved the sheet later showing me all the payments we had made all of them, called option one back and they told me they showed on their computers we had missed may, june,july aug. payment and would I send them a copy of that print out sheet, i told them no, we went and sent them another payment of 1145.00 for the month of October still waiting to hear if option one denied our payment for the second time.

we ran our credit report and discovered that option one is not on any of them they have not reported any payment in over a year we are wondering where all that money is going, over the period of which we have paid at the sum of close to 29,000 in 2 years and only 3,000 has been applied to our account leaving amount of $2600.00 so what has option one done with that kind of money and who else is being stripped of their money and gaining nothing but threats. i believe that option one is very dishonest with their clients no one really knows what is going on i'm always being told something different. and for only $9000 i could get back to our regular payment of 562.00 don't think so we have given more that what we could afford we had to let other bills go so we wouldn't lose our house we followed every agreement that was made.

my husband cut off his thumb and was out of work for 4 months i was just laid off and we were out of money but made it right now i feel its time for option one to step up and take care of this mess they have created they have done us really wrong and i have found other people with the same problem and same company. i was told they have tried to contact us by phone many times but not once have they come across on caller Id as option one but restricted that seems odd to me being they are a large mortgage corporation i feel we we have paid thirty thousand for a home we should have that right to live there and we have for 25 years.
companies like option one and others need to be investigated at the rate of foreclosure in this country not knowing all the laws we become confused on what is right and do we truely understand what it is they really want.

i'm sure there will be another charter soon, as i said earlier we are waiting for them to return our october payment. why????????
