Orion Property Group Bill Schercuit Withhold security deposit with no response back Overland Park Ks

I previously was a tenant for over a year at a house I was renting, that Orion Property Group managed. At the beginning, our property manager we signed our lease with was very responsive to our needs. About four months into our lease we needed a maintenance request. That is when I was told our manager was no longer with the company. Everything went downhill from there. Our new property manager, Bill, would rarely answer his phone and it would take forever to finally hear back from him. Once, he showed up without notice to a maintenance request we called in weeks before. And never called us back on it but just randomly showed up one day. We paid our rent every month, on time, for over a year and when the time came to renew our lease we decided to do month to month because of how sketchy this company had become. When I told him we wanted to do month to month, he never called me back. So all we have signed was a one year lease. When we decided to leave, we gave them 30 days notice. We cleaned the house from head to toe and left it better than we moved into. It has been over a month and a half since we have moved out and we have called and emailed the property group. And no one at all has even bothered to give us a single call back. So now they are withholding $900 of ours. I would not use this property group if I was you.
