Paradigm Acceptance Company ripoff Ripped me off Hampton Hampton Virginia

I am writing to complain about Paradigm acceptance company. I thought it was a great thing to be able to own a computer for my family being a low income family. Well first of all the company took out a few payments from my checking account with out my portion of the contract being signed.

I did not think there was anything I could do about that. I was told that every friday $34 was going to be taken out of my bank by them.

Well it turns out they tried more tahn that which resulted in continous overdrafts for me.

I wanted a solution to this problem as I was falling behind with the payments due to the overdraft that they kept on causing by taking money when they were not supposed to.

It turns out now I am $300 behind in payments.
I called Paradigm on the 25th September and spoke to an individual named Rita there. I requested that I wanted a stop payment for October to remedy the mess at the bank. They agreed.

On 30th October I come to find out that they had taken the money against what I had said and they agreed to and caused $300 in overdraft charges, again.

Rita at Paradigm confirmed that it was there screw up and told me to go to the bank, get a copy of what they did, then fax it to them. I took the time and trouble to do that and Rita said that I would receive a call back the afternoon of the 30th, I did not get a call.
Today 31st October 2006 I called them again and spoke to Rita, who told me her manager would review it and let me know within an hr. So approx 45 minutes later I received a call from Andrea Morris the so called Manager who said upon review of my acct she would not reimburse nothing. She threated me with repossesion of the computer, the sherrif to come to my door and arrest me. She said that because I was behind on my acct I was going to play it her way or no way. I told her that I was told you would reimburse the overdraft and she said no we are not. I then told her that I put a stop payment at the bank and that I would send a money order mthly to them to avoid bank problems. Andrea said you are in breach of contract and I will send the sherrif to you.

I had the phone put down on me by Andrea.

I called back and asked for the name of the president of paradigm acceptance co and Rita refused stating she'd be fired for allowing me that information.

I then called the attny Generals office to find out there are alot more complaints besides mine. I am angry with this company and their threats. They rip people off left and right and I for one am going to take a stand.

As it stands right now I am not sending a dime to them until I get this resolved and I will put the money into Escrow.
