Paramount Movers RIP OFF, DECEIVING, DISHONEST COMPANY Annapolis Junction Maryland

I contacted this company in November to reserve for December 1, 2006. I was quoted 75dollars an hour for a minimum of 3 hours costing AT THE MOST at total of 225.at the most! I was told that the movers would arrive between 9 and 11 am.I told the company I needed to get the furniture at the Herndon location, then go to my storage room in Fairfax then to my condo. I stated that I needed to be OUT of my old place no later then noon and into my new condo NO LATER then 6 pm. I was sent a contract and signed it and faxed it back!

On December 1, 2006 No one showed and I was never called, by 10 am I had called 3 times, was hung up on, put on hold, said someone would be there momentarily. By 11:00 I FINALLY reached someone who told me that there was an accident with the movers and other ones were on the way.

At noon I called hysterical and was AGAIN told that someone was on the way. I was yelled at by a dispatcher and when I started crying because of the money I was NOW having to pay aas an extra day fee for a late move out....HE LAUGHED AT ME!

After much going back and forth I was told by "Jessica" that I had a 30 percent discount and someone finally came at 3:30 PM. The movers had attitudes with me, were rude and upset when I said we had to et to the storage plae.We didn't get to my new place until 6:00 PM and the security said I had a half an hour extra and that was it. We didn't finish until 8:30 PM. I had to pay and extra LATE MOVE IN FEE....

the movers threw everything in my living room and not into the proper rooms. they dinged furniture, and wer extremely rude. They over charged me and said no way to the 30 percent off. I ended up paying 535.00 for a 225.00 stated fee PLUS 600 late move out fee and 300 late move in fee.

I called the following MOnday and was told to make a discrepency report.I did, and I never heard a word until 2 weeeks ago when I was offered $25.00 for damages..... TWENTY_FIVE DOLLARS!!!

Do Not ever use this unprofessional, useless, HORRIBLE company!!
