Park Place Automotive ripoff sold me broken truck lied to me about it they won't fix it Milwaukie, Oregon

So i bought a 1998 range rover on 7/3/06 and that same day the truck stalled 7times before i could it off the lot. The main salesman told me to leave it so he can send it to the shop the morning of the 5th. He did loan me another little car. I was supposed to get the truck back 7/5/06 due to the 4TH OF JULY.nope

I asked if they would please call me when the truck returned to the dealership. I recieved NO phone call. On 7/6/06 my girlfriend drove past the dealership about 5pm and my truck was there. I went to get my truck and as I got there a salesman pulls up in the Rover. ''I just took it on another test drive'' he said. So I gave him the keys to the little car and got my truck keys. I asked for the reciepts for the work done and all I got was blank stares. I started the truck and pulled foward. The fornt left brake made noise, not loud at first but enough to notice. The salesman told me they had new brakes and pads on there with a list of other things, his suggestion about the noise was let the brakes ''break in''. Okay I thought.

7/09/06 The truck has stalled 4times since i drove it off the lot and the brakes are screaming at me. People walking would come up to me as i parked and suggest I get that checked. I tried to call the park place auto number and reached no one. 7/10/06 I took the truck to Braketem so am'd actually know what I was talking about when I reported this to the salesman.Braketeam wouldn't even let me drive it after the free inpection.
We were guarenteed by braketeam that 5more times of pressing the brake and it would have locked up and we WOULD crash. Metal gringing Metal. The brake pad was BARELY there, the rotor was BELOW minimum. It grinded so much and was so bad it welded the calipar. Also the rear breaks were bad.There Is NO way the truck was safety checked Breakteam told me. So I called parkplace immediately and asked for the machanic that worked on the car. Parkplace gave me a nuber to ET machanic's and the had NO idea what I was talkin about. They weren't the machanic's that worked on that truck. I called parkplace again and they said"woops sorry i guess we gave you the wrong machanic let me find the number I'll call you back."

They didn't call back at all that day. I called them 7/11/06 and told them everything wrong with the truck. They say bring it in and they'll fix it.(mind you the truck is UNdrivable) I told them I can't and It had to be towed. They suggested my insurance company could tow it. If I get my car fixed I want my machanic to tow it so I'll tow it to my machanic I said. They told me I could because my machanic would charge top dollar. My mother called parkplace and asked what was going on. The Lead salesman was yelling at my mother. I could hear him yelling. Bottom line They sold me an unsafe truck that I had my family in. We would have crashed no doubt and Now I can even drive it untill it's fixed. I refuse to let them work on it because every safety feature they said was new, Was a lie. How can I trust they'll even fix it this time if not the first. Or if the put crap parts on it to satify the means. I want my macchanics at braketeam to fix it and bill parkplace for problems that should have been fixed before I drove off there lot. They knew the brakes were bad, they just wanted their sale.........there is something I can Do I just don't know what?
