My wife and I purchased a 2000 Honda ODYSSEY for $13,168.30 from PARS CARS. We made a $2000 down payment and one day after getting the car the transmission failed the car was bought as is and we were told that the car was in great condition by sales man last name Curry. Now they are claiming to service the car and each time that I speak to someone in that department they ask me to pickup the car with the transmission in disrepair. The GM told me that he was not a used car dealer, he is a by here pay here business and that he can sale cars at higher than book value even if the car is bad and the your office has no authority to do anything about in part he has a LIC to steal and deceive consumers. I said to him in our conversation that's why people get so fed up with companies and he asked me are you threatening me. I said to him no I am not your trying to get out of doing the right thing on this account . Please help my family, the loan company and this car dealership are just ripping people off. Right now I am so upset that I may need to say things better but I can't right now. The car is still in there service department I do not have the car. We had the car towed which we had to pay for it 250.00.
