Patricia A. Jay, Attorney at Law Very unprofessional, a liar and she took advantage of my elderly mother and I, financially! San Antonio Texas

I can't remove my old review on this site, so here is my new, updated report and information.

Please beware, I think Patricia was a horrible attorney!  I feel that Patricia took major advantage of my elderly mother and I financially (I have proof), lied so much, was rude and unprofessional, treated me very bad, was late from the time she told me to be at court, to go over my case.  Patricia's paralegal, Lisa was also a part of a lot of this.  Patricia has harassed me so much over these 100% honest reviews and her ego can't handle it.  These business reviews are here for a reason and I have a right to post what happened in my situation.  I was sent messages on my Facebook from her on her personal Facebook, that I only had a few days to remove my reviews about her or she was suing me.  Patricia had her attorney friend, send me a certified letter that said she is suing me and she also sent that letter to my parents and friends and it says she is suing me for $100,000 over my reviews and she wants my old friends to be "character" witnesses and do a deposition on me, for her.  My family, friends and others I have talk to about all of this, think she is harassing me, bullying me and that she is truly psychotic for all of this and for her comments on my review on AVVO (go check it out, it's all obviously the biggest lies and insane) and she also posted my full name, physical address, phone number and email on public sites and told people to contact me over all of this, which is also insane.  I originally hired Patricia because of the "good" reviews about her, but after what she did to me and doing some research on her Facebook, after she messaged me on it, I saw that the "good" reviews were from her friends and other law firm friends, so who knows if they all really had cases with her.  Patricia now says, that because I researched her "public" Facebook for proof of what I claimed, that she is now also filing criminal charges against me for stalking.  I have all of her emails, texts and screenshots, for proof of what I have said.  I hope the authorities and judges see right through her, disciplinary actions are taken against her and she is required to have a mental evaluation, after all of this.

 Please BEWARE of Attorney Patricia Jay! I think she took advantage of my elderly mother and I, financially! She was only on my case for about 4 months and she told my mother and I, that this case shouldn't go over $3,000 and if there was a slight chance it did, it would be very little and that we could make payments, but that never happened. My mother and I, ended up paying almost $7,000 and I went to court ONE time. I even made it easy on her and I emailed her everything she needed/proof, for my case. I think she charged me for things she didn't do because she knew I didn't know what it all meant and she did charge me for things she never asked me about, before doing them. When I asked her and her paralegal, Lisa Ramirez-Carl about the charges, I was emailed back, that I was just complaining. She lied, was late from the time she said she would be there and told me to be there, treated me bad and talked down to me, threatened to not finish something on my case because I called her out on all of this, threatened to sue me over my reviews (she even sent me a message on my Facebook from her personal Facebook, telling me that I only had a few days to remove my reviews or she was suing me and she had an attorney, Legarreta & Owen, PLLC, send me certified papers to sue me for this, if I didn't remove my reviews). She posted my full name, address and phone number on public sites and said I had mental issues, all because I posted a bad and 100% HONEST review about her and she can't handle it. She mocked my Facebook picture because it says "Keep Calm and Trust God". It is OBVIOUS who has the "mental issues". In the end, I bet you will end up paying double or triple what other attorney's charge, no matter what she tells you. The "good" reviews about her online, are from her personal friends and other law firm friends and I have the screenshots of them on her personal Facebook, which I fell for and paid the price, literally! I have all of the emails, texts and screenshots for proof.
