Approximately 45 days ago, multiple phone calls were made to my phone to get me to "come on board" to resolve my tax issues. The sales pitch was very convincing and so I bought into it. $2295 for total services. I sent $450 so far and the only service performed was filing of Power of Attorney with IRS by PTR. No extension was ever requested for filing of 2010 federal taxes and they were never filed as stated as a service of Patriot Tax Relief.
Also in sales pitch was filing of 2010 federal taxes. This was not done. I have not been able to speak to anyone about my account and am out $450. No phone calls are ever returned and emails are very few.
Very disgruntled and don't let PTR (Patriot Tax Relief) into your life and tax issues. My account is worse now with the IRS than previous before PTR statements of "getting taxes reduced" and "someone will always be available". Currently researching legal options to get money back and filing claim with CA BBB.
Very upset and disgruntled...

Sorry. I get really disgusted when I read about these "settle your taxes for less" firms. They are ALL scams. There isn't one legit one among them.
