We signed a contract wih John Bishop of John Paul Builders gave John Bishop a deposit to start the work . He took the money and left the state. we then hired paul rueda and signed a contract with pkr construction in february of 2016 . in september 2016 he hired a house lifter to raise our home which was done but paul rueda never completely paid the lifter .
Paul rueda stated he needed more money to continue . as of today paul rueda of pkr construction has not done any more work on our home. we are out of quite a lot of money that was a rrem grant to help us repair our home because of super storm sandy Paul rueda and his former partner are under investigation for fraud. we have been out of our home since march of 2016 . our house has never been put back down on the foundation yet .

In response to this claim the only part of this that is true is my partner did take off to Florida with my money aswell as clients money. Unfortunately her job did not get done due to her nephew who is the architect screwed the plans up so bad it would cost the over 40,000 to fix it. Her children kept saying do the job and dont worry about the money. Unfortunately it doesnt work that way otherise the job would have been completed.
The real problem is that the nephew never took responsibility and he is family so they wont blame him for any wrong doing. I suggested a loan and they said they cant or just didn't want to get one. I feel bad for them however there is nothing I can do without the proper funding. All estimates that were given was based on her nephews plans he should man up and pay to finish the home.
