Pauls Towing of Sewell NJ is a complete thief in the opinion of this writer. Let me explain how the public should be aware of his practices and how come you should call another company.

They chased an accident call on Sunday December 13th, 2009 thinking that it was a good thing. Little did they realize when they tried to charge for not just the allowable towing bill, but a WINCH UP fee! Let me explain what this is. Another words, it is to use the winch on the flatbed to bring the car that was just in an accident on the bed itself. The last time I checked, that was exactly how the manufactor stated this was to be used! A car gets wrecked, the winch pulls it on the bed. Hence the need for the tow truck in the first place.

Then they wanted and did charge for a CLEAN UP FEE. As part of the ability to answer police calls, all towing companies are required to do basic clean up of the parts broken off the car in an accident. NOT charge the people for the ten minutes at most it takes to clean it up. Oh Yeah, they get you for a quick $35 dollars and call it an extra labor charge.

Lets talk about the storage fees! They state they charge $25 per day. Well, lets see since they have no posted rates, I guess the $15 daily the insurance companies pay is not the set rate. I guess if your the poor sap who just lost his/her car, you pay extra. Not to mention there is no pro-rating of any part of any day! So even if you have a car there for ten minutes into a day, you get charged for the FULL day! Not even the airport parking lots get away with that!

When you question the bill, or demand to see in writing the rates your given, the owner PAUL has a terrible attitude and then gets a smart mouth with you. Believing he has your car and is in control of the theft he is pulling on you is not a good thing. You want to pay but, Paul refuses to take your credit card even though this is completely against Visa and M/C rules. He DEMANDS CASH ONLY. He knows you have no recourse or protection with forcing you to pay cash.
