The online payday loan company PayDay2Day.com has been harassing me ever since I inquired about a payday loan through them. I was contacted after filling out an online application. After speaking to a representative (clearly being outsourced in India) I told them to not go any further with the loan because of the outrageous fees ($79 for a $200 loan.) Insane! I said I was interested and to take me off their list. Since then (3 days ago) I have received constant calls from this company. Altogether, I believe I have been contacted 20 times. At least 20!! I have spoken to them many of those times and have said over and over...please stop calling me, I'm not interested. I get the same stupid response. "Ok sir...ok sir. I am taking it off right now." But they never do! I called their customer service number and from the sounds of it, the company is NOT based in the U.S.....they sound English. I'm at my wit's end with this company and I'm not sure how to get them to stop. I'm also concerned that they may try to deposit the loan into my checking account without my consent...and then gouge me with fees.
If this were an American company I'm sure there are laws against this type of telephone harassment, but I'm not sure what my rights are if they're international.
Please help if you have any experience with sort of situation.

Same thing happened to me with them

The same thing happened to me. They called my work at least 20 times in 3 days. I told them to take me off of their list and they said ok ok. Give it a week or two and they stop calling. They did not deposit money into my account
