Im an EBAY seller with a perfect record (as a buy and seller). Im not a high volume seller but when I do sell (giving my rating) I expect to recieve my funds immediatly. The item that was sold was an heavy duty equipment trailer. This trailer nose to tail is 50' long, and weighs just under 7,000lbs. There was a buyer that stated that he wanted the trailer and was using cash and buynow pay later. Once we negotiated the odds and ends I adjusted the price to the buyers liking and the item was purchased and paid for. I personally delivered the trailer to they buyer traveling accross two states (which should show the trailer was road worthy, legal, and just as described.) A friendly conversation later her pays me the remaining cash for delivering the trailer, and balance owed (minus paypal payment.) Later that night login and look at my EBAY status, and the buyer left the normal message (great, good product, fast delivery, cant wait to do business again). So now im thinking my PAYPAL payment will be released the next day since the sale has been completed and you can clearly see the buy is satisfied.

After one week. Nothing. $3000 showing pending. After two weeks. Nothing. $3000 showing pending. After three weeks. Nothing. $3000 showing pending. The only reason I waited this long is because they say the "new" process takes up to 21 days to complete due to selling practices and etc. One Iver never had a negative review. I always ship next day free of charge, or I deliver myself if its a large item. I call PAYPAL today and he stated that he could not see where the item has been delivered. He says there was no tracking number on file. But if you look at the auction for delivery method it says clearly (local pickup). Well the buyer did not want to pick it up. Instead he wanted it delivered to him. So hes had this trailer for almost a month now and is happy with it, and Ive yet to recieve my funds.

They PAYPAL agent asked me why didnt I ship it using a provider. Ding Ding Ding Hello... its a 50' trailer, I dont see a little USPS, or UPS person putting that in their bag and hand delivering it. After stating that (and probably looking at the picture) he responds oh its a equipment trailer. Okay, okay, I didnt see that. Is this an automated thing? Or is this some poor fella that cant read determining the holds? Maybe its some kid surfing the internet not paying attentiong that has this power. The messed up part is he says it could take up to 5 days to transfer my funds? WTF!?!?!?! I understand that EBAY is now seperate from PAYPAL, but what sense does it make when the two no longer communicate. The old way was much better. Now I must go around and make all these 5*s ive placed on reviews 0*s. Can someone tell me what happens to all the i,trest made off of my mondey holding it this long? No? Total ripoff. Im never using PAYPAL again.
