Paypal They failed to provide correct information to resolve matter did not back the information that I was given charged me fees and locked my account after following their orginal instructions. ripoff Internet

In july I was going to pay for an ebay item from my paypal acct and entered in a new credit card to have the funds pulled from there. Instead I had not followed instructions correctly and "Paypal received payment now please take off the hold unfreeze my account and take back the charges.

Back in July I purchased something off ebay for approx 1100.00 and was making payment through paypal. I needed to pay for this transaciton with my visa credit card so I put this information into my paypal acct, but I somehow did not do it correctly and so paypal tried to pull it from my visa debit card, since the funds were not there. I was charged by my bank immediately that same day that funds were pulled.

I phone paypal and explained the situation and told them I had intended those funds to come from my visa credit card and the rep said that paypal would try again to pull funds from my bank and suggested I call my bank and put a stop on that transaction and he walked me through the process to correct the situation and have the funds pulled from my visa credit card instead and assured me it would be fine.

Having no reason to believe that it had not been corrected I let it sit. However I found out the middle of September that I was had a negitive account with pay and my account was locked. So I emailed and phoned paypal and was not getting anyone willing to help me instead I got emails that were standard just addressing that my account was locked due to a negitive balance. The rep and the internet help boxes explained that I had to send a certified check and they would hold funds for 10 days etc. I ended up having the seller from ebay send monies back to my account and needed an additional 500.00 to clear up this matter but did not have immediate cash funds.

Not having the monies available except through credit card and not getting any help from paypal on any options that I might have. I decided to create another paypal acct using my information and making a credit card payment to my orginal acct from this newly made one. Using my information just opening up a new email under my name and a new paypal under my name just shortent my name on the paypal acct as Tei to avoid confusion.

I confirmed that the credit card payment was accepted and funds were pulled from my account and I made a payment of 450.00 directly to the credit card. Then paypal charged me more money to accept this payment. Then a few days later discovered that Paypal has once again froze my account and had placed a hold on my credit card payment although they have already pulled the funds from this acct.

I am unable to get a rep to help me, the emails I receive all all general emails not addressing the situation and not providing any help.

I would like the fees taken off my acct and the credit card payment applied in the amount of 500.00 to be taken off a "hold" that they now have on it. I would like this resolved and paypal is not trying in any sense to help to resolve this situation and to help me instead they just want to rake up more fees needlessly and offer no help and to continue to lock my account. When I call during their business hours I am not treated very kindly and not given any answeres or solutions.

Paypal received payment now please take off the hold unfreeze my account and take back the charges.
