PBB Global Logistics Collection Letters for unauthorized tarriffs ripoff Buffalo New York

I purchased an item on Ebay and paid the shipper the exact amount I was quoted for the shippers courier service $37.00 US.

Now I am being sent collection letters for $48.00 for services that neither the seller nor myself were informed of. I never authorized nor signed any paperwork approving nor taking responsibility for any additional import charges.

Now I am being told in strongly worded letter; "by signing a courier waybill the shipper has given the carrier the legal right to arrange customs formalities in the country of designation. Please make the check payable to PBB Global Logistics"

The phone number on the letter does not answer with a live person to explain the charges or the reason for them and also references a non exsistant "Salt Spring Courier".

I refuse to pay for something that I already paid to the shipper: ALL THE COSTS FOR TRANSPORTATION AND SHIPPING. This is in my opinion a hidden cost not mentioned by the shipping company DSL.

I require written proof that I am responsible - show me. Don't send me a bill from some vague 3rd or 4th party company.

Never mind the fact that there is in no way can they hit a credit rating for something like this. Unless they illegally get a hold of one's personal information.
