I received a call at my work and someone told me that I owed them a payday loan.  I did not quite understand them, but I thought it was another bill that I owed that they were collecting on.  I, unfortunately, gave them my debit card number and received a fax from them stating that $350.00 would be debit at the end of the month as final settlement. 

Upon investigation, I realized that this company does not exist and is a scam.  I also tried to call the number back that they called on and it would not connect.  I have since canceled my debit card and notified my bank not to honor this withdrawal.  I also faxed them back and told them that I have found them out and have reported them.  I hope that this does not continue or I will report them to the Attorney General.
