DON'T USE PEACHSTATE WINDOWS!

Peachstate Windows is like the 4th or 5th business Jeff Shea has started in the last dozen years or so.  Unfortunately I didn't check him out thoroughly enough before hiring him off of Home Advisors (never use them again either I guess).  At first I just thought he was a bad businessman given what happened, but as I researched him I found he is probably a bit unscrupulous as well, and others have had the same issues as me in the past with his other businesses (Peachstate was just formed 2/16).

Jeff was all nice at first, eager to come out and see the job and get me a quote, very attentive.  Until I gave him a $495 downpayment on a $2495 job to replace my patior door, the frame, and screen.  He told me it can take 3 weeks for the door to come in because it has to be a custom retro fit because of the age of my house and modifications prior owner did.  I wasn't in a great hurry so I was okay with that.

At the end of 3 weeks, he said the door hadn't come in yet, but was certain it would be in the next couple of days, and put me on the install schedule for the following weekend (4 weeks from first quoting job).

When 4th week passed and I hadn't heard anything, I had to make 4 phone calls to his cell and the office (wife works admin I guess) over 24 hours.  No one would ever answer any call.  After 24 hours and 4 messages, Jeff called back and informs me that the door wasn't in and would not be in for 2 more weeks - a total of 6 weeks after initial quote.  I told him that this was unacceptable, that I informed him that it had to be done by a certain date (4 weeks from initial quote) because I was going to be traveling after that.  I had cancelled a weekend trip to be home for the install the 4th week.

I told Jeff that since I could not accommodate an install after a certain date, I wanted my deposit back.  He started with a song and dance, and refusing to refund.  I found out from the vendor he ordered from that he did not order the door until 9 days after he told me would.  His wife told me they have troulbe with the vendor being behind on orders - then get a different vendor!

I tried to work it out with Jeff, but finally had to send him a demand letter, and will probably have to file a lawsuit.  Good thing I work in the legal field!

More inaccuracies, they just keep coming.       This ruling, which gave the Sheas only a fraction of what they tried to get, including NOTHING for the defamation portion of the countersuit, proves only that Jeff Shea was better at convincing the judge of his lies than I was at convincing him of the truth regarding the contract; that happens sometimes, practice makes perfect.  Had the judge actually carefully considered the materials I think the outcome may have been different.  Nonetheless,  THIS [original] posting is only one of MANY on the internet from OTHER people, in addition to the more than 10 legal actions taken against the Sheas and their past companies (public record).  You can't do business the way he does and expect people to just roll over and take it and threaten them with lawsuits to quell their perfectly legal and constitutional right to post TRUTHFUL information about their experience.  It's interesting that he keeps this going - do you enjoy carrying this on and on Jeff?  Quite the professional you are.   You received your judgment for a few dollars, and I will pay that, but you have now gone on the offensive.   I'll continue to post the truth in my defense, so long as you continue to post your version of something you call the truth.

Liar Liar Pants on Fire

Today in Cobb County Magistrate Court, Peachstate Windows prevailed with a judgement against Ms. Francine Pulsi the poster of report.  The Court found Ms. Pulsi accusations to be unfounded and without merit. On Septmeber 8,2016 Peachstate Windows entered into a contract with Ms. Pulsi to install a special order door; special order doors take 3-4 weeks to arrive from the factory and sometimes even longer. On October 3,2016 Ms Pulsi called wanting to cancel her contract 3 weeks after the order was placed. I explained that was not possible since we would still have to pay for the door from vendor and  we do not have a place to use it else where due to the specialized configuration of the door unfortunately with special order goods we can NOT cancel the order with our vendor, once ordered we own it. we explained the hte door wpuld ship hte following week, but that was not good enough for Ms.Pulsi. Instead Ms. Pulsi choose to use the internet as means of extorting money from us to remove her post and release her from her contract. She the filed suit immediately in Cobb County Magristrate Court. well today in court Ms. Pulsi learned that the law does allow for this to happen. unfortunately even though we prevailed in court hte internet still has this ugly posting painting a dismal view of who we are and what we stand for. the worse part is that she has choosen make this personal and left an image of both my wife and myself that sounds pretty bad. our nexr encounter with will be to settle the slander suit we are filing with reagrd to this matter.

More Untruths from the company

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Friday, November 04, 2016

1 - this is a husband and wife operation (one of them wrote the above immediately following being served with my lawsuit) - since when does the "simply a commissioned salesman" negotiate whether money will be returned to a customer and accuse them of slander and extortion and call them a deadbeat?  I've looked up these people and their businesses, there are no other "owners" and they are the deadbeats -as the dozen or so other lawsuits against them prove out.

2 - I was fraudulently induced into the contract with a verbal promise of delivery around 3 weeks AND being convinced that the door had to be a special measurement, etc. - which I have one, and soon to be two, contractors telling me that is UNTRUE!!  Looking forward to presenting that in Court!

3 - The vendor tells me the door was not ordered until 9/15, one week after signing the contract - NOT the next day as Jeff had promised.

4 - what's this have to do with the price of tea in China?

5 - I didn't "insist" - I asked if I could go ahead and get on the install list BECAUSE ACCORDING TO JEFF THE DOOR WAS EXPECTED TO ARRIVE IN THE EXPECTED TIME PERIOD!  I just wanted to get in the rotation - little did I know . . .

6 - You haven't seen me unglued honey.  Yes I was pissed that I was induced into hiring people under false pretenses and had given you money and he just kept shining me on - that tends to piss me off! A civil tone?  You call accusing someone of slander and extortion and calling them a deadbeat "a civil tone"?  Just because you didn't yell it doesn't make it civil.  That's how you conduct yourself with an unsatisfied customer, call them a deadbeat?  Nice.

7 - You offered to retail me the door at a ridiculously jacked up price and I declined first due to the price and second because I was not confident Jeff had taken precise measurements - if not, then I was stuck with a door that didn't fit!

Finally - this is a distortion.  Jeff stated that he was aware that I had already posted online, and that if and only if I deleted the post he would refund my deposit.  When I attempted and failed (because this site refuses to take posts down), but offered to "amend" the posting to get my money back (called negotiated settlement) Jeff went radio silent for days and finally stated that he was NOT refunding my money and would sue me for $2000 and slander.  I had no choice but to file suit.  Now, instead of $495, he owes me court costs for a total of $701.

You want to keep going?  I can keep going.

Peachstate's Rebuttal

AUTHOR: Peachstate - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 18, 2016

1)  Jeffrey Shea doesn’t own or have any ownership interest in Peachstate Windows.  Mr. Shea is simply a commission Sales Rep for Peachstate Windows.  He brings many years of valuable experience to us and we are glad to have him on board.  It is very rare to find individuals with the experience, integrity and commitment Mr. Shea brings to the table.

 2) On 9-8-16, Ms. Pulci entered into a contract with Peachstate Windows to have a door custom built to some very unique specifications to meet her very specific needs. She was told at that time it takes 3-4 weeks minimum for these custom doors. A deadline for delivery was never discussed or committed to by Peachstate Windows.

3) On 9-10-16 we sent specifications to our vendor to commence the ordering process. After several rounds of back and forth the door was ordered.

 4) On 9-17-16, Ms. Pulci contacted us to see if we had any in-house financing available because something had come up and she was short on cash.  Mr. Shea explained that we do offer no credit check financing.  He offered her several options that she declined.

 5) On 9-17-16, we tentatively scheduled an install, at Ms. Pulci’s insistence.  Mr. Shea explained to her that this installation date would be confirmed only when we had the door in our possession. As our contract states we are not responsible for materials availability.

 6) Ms. Pulci called and wanted to confirm her installation and we explained that we were still waiting for the door.  We called our vendor and they gave us a delivery dated of 10-19-16.  When Mr. Shea called to tell Ms. Pulci the delivery date, Ms. Pulci became unglued.  She basically called Mr. Shea every name in the book and went totally ballistic.  We have all of the voice messages that she left, available.  Ms. Pulci then demanded her money back.  Mr. Shea tried to explain in a civil tone, it was not possible because we still have to pay for a door that cannot be used any elsewhere since it was custom built.   This was unacceptable to Ms. Pulci who just kept insisting that we return the deposit and incur the expense of the door.

 7) We offered to sell her the door without the installation so she would not have to go through the wait, once again, with another company.  Any other company would have to place a special order for the door and the glass, to configure this door unit.  This was not acceptable to Ms. Pulci.  Ms. Pulci wanted us to refund her money and incur the expense of a $1500.00 custom door that cannot be used anywhere else.  Additionally, we have been threaten with a lawsuit.  She seems to believe that because she works for a law firm she can disregard the terms and conditions of the contract, use online misrepresentations to extort undue monies, cause us to lose business, and incur the expense of the door.

Finally, after dealing with her for several days, we agreed to refund her money.  We decided we would take a loss financially on the door.  We were not aware at that time, she already made the decision to posted negative reviews online.  At this point, we have no other alternative but to vigorously defend ourselves in court.
