PeoplePC Ripoff Outsourcing India

I went with People PC as my internet service and boy was I mistaken. I did it all by internet and gave the information that they require. My service was slow to say the least and I order the speed Accelerator to make it work better. Well it didn't. Having checked my credit card a couple of time there was a 19 dollar charge every month which was agree was the price of the service. About 6 months later I started to receive a bill for 29.00 dollars a month. I attempted to call them and was answer by a female name Rose. Althought Rose had a accent, my wife being German and me having lived all over the world I reconized the accent as Paki or India. I ask Rose where she was located and she told me she could not tell me. I ask her for her real name and she told me she could not tell me that either. I explain to her that I do not support outsourcing to third world country and that we had enough Americans over here without jobs. She got mad and scream that she was in India and that her name was Dala or Dahlie or something to that effect. I told thats all I needed to know and cancel my account right there. I called my credit card company and told them. They said that they could not cancel the card but if I would send People P.C a registered letter stating my intentions then I would not have to pay them anymore and they would deal with them. Well so they got away with about 174-300 dollars of my money and I was not able to get it back. So if you want Internet check your local providers first before you go to the big guys. I learned my lesson.
