I purchased a heavy duty crate for my dog from eBay. I paid $200 including shipping. When the cage arrived, the hinges on the cage were broken and cannot be repaired. The box was not compromised so I believe this seller shipped the cage already broken.

When I contacted the seller, he told me "I" had to pay return shipping (which would be $75) because it says in his ad "seller pay return shipping." Well, If I was returning it because I changed my mind, okay, I'll pay the shipping. He sent me a broken cage and wants ME to pay $75 out of my own pocket to return his junk to him.

I told him I'd help him file a claim with FedEx but FedEx won't pick it up until the seller authorizes the return shipping, which he won't do.

So, bottom line, I'm stuck with a broken, worthless piece of metal bars that wouldn't hold a bunny rabbit for $200 OR I need to pay $75 for the privilege of returning his broken piece of crap when HE was the one who shipped ME broken merchandise. Nice choice, eh?

He told me that if I buy something from Wal-Mart and return it, they don't pay my gas to drive there. Nice comparison. Great customer service: "I send you junk, you pay no matter what it looks like."

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM ARTIST. His junk is crap from China and not worth the cardboard box it arrives in. In fact, the cardboard box would hold my dog more securely than the cage with broken hinges he has "sold" me for $200!!!

Caught and Sweating

AUTHOR: T Jones - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, March 07, 2010

Goodness, this seller is soooo angry. If you did nothing wrong, why so defensive?

Is it because YOU refused to assist FedEx in the damage claim? Is it because you knew the claim would sit in limbo forever if you refused to authorize the package pick-up and inspection?

I think any logical person reading this post would wonder "why wouldn't the seller just authorize FedEx to pick the package up and inspect it for damage?" The insurance would have taken care if it.

The "claim" cannot materialize if the seller won't cooperate. Bottom line, folks. He wouldn't. I have never heard of that. Makes me wonder what he is hiding?

My guess--the seller didn't want FedEx to see the box was not damaged. That would have proven the merchandise was poorly packed OR was broken before the item was shipped. The seller would have been responsible--like he should have been from the beginning.

That's why he's sweating and posting illogical nonsense. Emails to me included threats and vulgar language.

I post my truthful experience about the transaction and what does the seller do? He threatens to post my personal information on the internet.

Who would possibly want to do business with anyone like this any time in the future? I know I wouldn't!

If you buy from this seller be prepared. If he ships you a broken item, he may cuss at you, threaten you, and "expect" you to pay for an item that is substandard, broken and YOU should haul a 76 pound item to a "welder" (I wouldn't even begin to know where to look), and when you demand a "new" item, LIKE YOU PAID FOR, he will refuse and hold YOU responsible.

There are too many honest, reputable sellers who sell higher-quality items and then stand behind them to waste your money on someone like this. Move on.

A Liar is a Liar

AUTHOR: Cheapestpetstroller - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, March 06, 2010

Let me point out who is a liar just from the post this buyer post here.

On #2, here is what this buyer post here

"It is impossible for me to file a damage claim with FedEx so when he tells you I filed a claim AND asked for a refund, HE is the liar. "

On #4, after we tell the buyer her FedEx claim case number she filed back in February 27th., here is her response

"Here's the facts: I just got off the phone with "Crystal" in Domestic Claims at FedEx to confirm, once again, that "all authorizations must come from the shipper/seller" AND there is "NO WAY I could have received a refund for one penny from that damaged package without authorization from the seller." I called FedEx at 1-800-463-3339. Anyone can call them and verify their policy. The seller has been caught in yet another lie.

Yes, I spoke with FedEx and they said I could file a claim but "THE CLAIM WILL NOT BE SETTLED WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION FROM THE SELLER." When I told the seller, he refused to assist FedEx with the claim. "

This is better, finally this buyer admit she filed claim on FedEx, if this is the case, why this buyer posted the comment on #2?

"CAVEAT EMPTOR"

AUTHOR: T Jones - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, March 06, 2010

Wow! Isn't this seller a real peach? Wouldn't you just love to spend your hard-earned money with someone who treats his customers this way?

Here's the facts: I just got off the phone with "Crystal" in Domestic Claims at FedEx to confirm, once again, that "all authorizations must come from the shipper/seller" AND there is "NO WAY I could have received a refund for one penny from that damaged package without authorization from the seller." I called FedEx at 1-800-463-3339.

Here's how the seller extorts money from his buyers: You "think" you see a reasonable price on an item. You purchase the item in the ad which is NOT a broken item, it is an item in perfect, working condition. The seller cheaply packs the item, with no packing material whatsoever and ships it FedEx. The box arrives with no tears or holes. You open your "new" item only to find it broken. You contact the seller who offers a "token" $50. What do you get for that $50? YOU get to HAUL A 76 POUND METAL CAGE to a welder (if you know one) and PAY to have a broken item fixed that should have been shipped unbroken in the first place. The seller wants you to have some hinges "WELDED" to the cage so now they will no longer work and the cage cannot be folded down.
You tell the seller this is unacceptable. He offers $100. When you tell the seller you "purchased a NON-BROKEN ITEM" he tells YOU---"too bad, my ad says YOU pay to ship back" Even though it was broken and worthless when it arrived.

You try to contact the shipper and tell them the item may have been broken in transit but the box is not compromised in any way. FedEx takes your information but tells you  "THE SHIPPER MUST AUTHORIZE OR NOTHING CAN BE DONE."

You contact the shipper to tell him as soon as HE authorized claim with FedEx, they will inspect the package and notify him and the seller says, "if you buy something from WalMart and it's broken, they don't pay you gas money to return it." SERIOUSLY? You want to compare a 76 pound mail order item that was broken to driving 3 miles to WalMart to buy something? How stupid is that? Well, I contacted JC Penney (a REPUTABLE COMPANY) and they said, if a 76 pound item arrives broken, they make arrangements with the shipping company to pick it up and have it returned AT NO COST TO THE BUYER! Now THAT'S how it's done people!!!

Buy from reputable, honest companies and you won't get scammed by foreign rip-off artists! You get what you pay for--bottom line America! Live and learn.

And there's more: When you try and let others know about the scam, the seller threatens to "disclose your personal information". Now there's more proof of this sellers integrity!! When  I file a claim with PayPal, the seller sends me emails with vulgar language, cussing at me. Again, seller integrity???

Read above, the seller is now going to "repair it ourself in 5 minutes." Gee, I guess this will be the next one for sale on eBay then?

The seller says he "refund within 1 hour of receiving item". No--PayPal takes the money back out of his account. Here it is: "We have concluded our investigation into your case and we have decided in your favor. We were able to recover $200 USD and this amount has been credited to you."

Yes, I had my $200 refunded. It cost me $65 in shipping for the privilege of hauling a 76 pound box of worthless junk off my porch, trying to put it together, repacking it, hauling it back to my porch and returning it via UPS. And the sellers response, "too bad, it say that in my ad."

Ok "America" you decide. Do you want to take that chance with this seller? Oh my, what happens when YOU order something from this seller and it arrives broken? YOU will have to pay WHATEVER IT COSTS to return the item, no matter how it got broken, while the seller holds your money hostage. And, God forbid, you complain about him or try to tell others to beware--he will then threaten to post your name and address on the internet!! Oh my!

I'm sure the seller WILL post my personal information--that's the kind of person he is. Only one more reason to NOT do business with this merchant.

let us show who is not honest

AUTHOR: Cheapestpetstroller - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 05, 2010

1)  This buyer claim she never file claim on fedex for the claim, here is the prove she is not honest.

Buyer file claim on fedex for $275 on February 27th, the case number is 0227505678, we can post the claim detail here but that include the buyer's address and phone number, we will not post in this rebuttal, but if this buyer still do not admit he file claim against fedex for $275, we will be forced to post the claim detail this buyer file against fedex in next rebuttal.  We are very careful to try to protect buyer's personal information, but we need to defend our integrity.  This prove is not from us, it is from FedEx.

2)  We refund the buyer with in 1 hour after we get the item back from the buyer, in our ebay list, our return policy clearly descripted "Buyer pays return shipping", no exception, no "if", at the time this buyer bought the item, she knows that she need to pay return shipping if she choose to do so.

3)  The only thing broken is the hinge, any metal welding shop can repair the damage for less than $25, and after we get it back, we repair it ourself in 5 minutes, the most reasonable solution to resolve this issue is buyer bring this cage to local welding shop, and send us the invoice for us to reimburse the cost, we promise the buyer we are willing to pay up to $100 for the repair.  If the buyer choose that solution, it will cost her nothing.

4)  We are a ebay seller with more than 10,000 feedback and 99.4% positive feedback even after this buyer left us two negative feedback, we can not achieve this by scam buyer, and even for the same item this buyer buy, we have tons of positive feedback from happy buyer.

5)  Buyer claim we intentionally send her a damage cage, that is nonsense, if she do not think the cage was damaged by shipping, why she file claim against FedEx?

Who's the Scam Artist?

AUTHOR: T Jones - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, March 05, 2010

This seller (petcrate eBay ID--among many others) intentionally shipped me a broken cage and charged me $200. Then he wanted to pawn his junk off on me for a $50 discount. Then he offered a $100 discount. This cage is not worth $20, let alone the $100 it would have cost. IT IS BROKEN and won't hold a flea. Why would I want to pay any amount of money for a broken cage?

I am not a welder, I could not fix it and WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO?  I did not order a broken cage. I do not want a broken cage. The seller can't get that through his thick head.

Then when I ask for a refund, he holds my $200 hostage until I pay $75 in return shipping for the privilege of looking at his broken junk? I don't think so.

When I called FedEx to ask about filling a claim, they said (an any REPUTABLE SELLER WOULD KNOW) that the SELLER needs to file the claim. I contacted the seller and he REFUSED to file a claim against FedEx! Why is that? Because he shipped me broken merchandise in the first place and knew his claim would be denied and he would be caught in a lie.

It is impossible for me to file a damage claim with FedEx so when he tells you I filed a claim AND asked for a refund, HE is the liar.

So..... who's the SCAM ARTIST here? Obvious. He got caught and he's trying to weasel his way out of it. Not this time!!!

PayPal agreed with me, by the way and reversed my credit card payment. So, again, who's the scam artist here?

We can not work with this buyer

AUTHOR: Cheapestpetstroller - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 04, 2010

This buyer is a ebay buyer, her ebay id is tnt_family, right after this buyer report the issue with us, our company offer numerous proposal to this buyer to resolve the issue, we offer $50 partial refund, we even offer $100 toward to repair of the cage, all our offer was reject by the buyer, the only solution the buyer want is $200 refund plus $75 to pay her to send the item back.  Our return policy is clearly state in the website, "buyer pay the return shipping".  This buyer not only demanding us to pay for $275, she also file claim against fedex for the same $275, we already notify fedex this buyer.  The so called helping us to file claim against fedex is absolute not true, she just want both fedex and us to pay her $275.
