I have been participating in the free lottery.com, playing the lotto on their site. on Jan-14-2004 at 08:09:56 -0800(PST) I sent am email to merchandise dispatch office, offers@freelotto. regarding an email sent to me that same day!
The stated I had a parcel there to claim, it was a 61"tv or a cheque for 2,741.88, and to claim within 40 days, I emailed them 3 times to claim my parcel or cheque, still no response. I emailed to claim the cheque, cause I could really use the money right now, instead of the tv.
The parcel is apparently waiting in new your at grand station, but still have not had a responce or a cheque delivered to my home! where is my cheque. I don't know whether they are a fraud or not, still have not gotten a responce to my emails or claims. All I wanted is my cheque.

Keep your money in your pocket!
AUTHOR: Jan - (United Kingdom)

Sadly this is an all too common rip-off!
The clue is in "or other merchandise item (confirmed; see inventory document, below)."
If you read the list it will ALWAYS contain at least one of the following:
Holiday vouchers to the 'value' of $$$$$$
Jewellery 'valued' at $$$$$
ebook(s) 'worth' $$$$$
A 'mystery gift worth' $$$$$
Get the picture?
So, what will you get for your $31.95?
Most probably a 'diamond' (industrial, uncut) on a solid gold (plated) chain of about 16" length with a RSP of $2.50!
No-one EVER gets the cheque or tv.
Here, in the UK such 'offers' are now unlawful and the persons running the scam can easily find themselves incarcerated for a decent 'stretch' plus confiscation of assets.
Do not waste your money.

Now they want you to PAY to get your prize! ..They are now asking for a credit card payment to "release" the goods

I would like to alert others that there is a new twist to this tale:
They are now asking for a credit card payment to "release" the goods, as shown below:
"You have been pre-assigned a parcel containing a SONY 61" PROJECTION TV or a bank cheque for USD $2,741.88 made payable to you, or other merchandise item (confirmed; see inventory document, below).
All shipping and tariff charges will be paid by the sponsor. But you must remit a Release Fee of USD $31.95, payable by credit card.
Include this USD $31.95 fee with your completed Warehouse Release & Shipping Request."
So now they not only generate the interest on the deposited money, they also get you to pay them to NOT deliver your prize!!!
Good luck everyone
