powertraindirect failed to honor a warranty of engine , blaming delivery co. instead, not delivery co. fault at all or i would have rejected it at delivery. Argyle Texas

 I ordered a remanufactured engine for my 2007 ford van and received it in poor condition , I did not install it yet, because according to my mechanic the cylinder heads were shaved down to much and would cause the valve covers to not seal properly causing them to leak oil. he also said that the intake manifold wont line up and mount on the engine.

This renders the engine useless to me. powertrain direct said they will not honor the warranty because I signed at delivery without first inspecting the engine , this is internal damage, my inspection at delivery was only to inspect the outside of engine for shipping damage . this damage is in the cylinder heads and cannot be the shippers fault. I seen no damage that could have been done by the shipper or I would have rejected the shipment at delivery. powertraindirect is wrong.
