I responded to an ad for a Part Time Admin Assist. Intereviewed in an office with the owner of the BAD Network, Joe Delfgauw and another man who I was told I was being hired to support administratively.
I was given a written job description that included placing ads on the internet, providing information to people who responded to the ads and tracking these people to get them to "attend" a conference call, during which Joe would explain the sales plan for Pre Paid Legal.
As a condition for my employment, I was told that I'd need to be not only a member, but an associate (code name for sales person). This was so I could access the "back office" functions of the website to help sales people who might be calling me for information.
I was told the Joe would pay the first month, (which was close to $100) and then I would be responsible for paying the subsequent months.
I was told I would be paid $10/hr by the BAD Network, but I would first be paid by Pre Paid Legal and if I didn't make the guaranteed $200/week for 20 hours of work, the BAD Network would make up the difference. I was also told that if what I was paid from Pre Paid Legal was in excess of $200-I could keep the difference.
This made no sense to me and when I asked why I'd be making money from Pre Paid Legal as an Admin person, I was told that I should get on the conference call to listen to Joe explain how the concept worked.
I made it clear at several points along the way that I was only interested in administrative work - not sales. Joe said he was happy to hear that, as most of his admin people were leaving to go in to sales and he really needed to get an admin person on board.
Well, during the conference call Joe announced that he'd just changed his mind and had decided that admin people were going to be "trained" by having to be sales people for the first two weeks.
Immediately following that call, I contacted John Hussey the person I was to be reporting to. He told me that the reason for working in sales for the first two weeks was to get my "six wide" - which to me is complete pyramid or multi-level marketing talk.
I spent the next several weeks trying to get answers from Pre Paid Legal, the BAD Network and Joe Delfgauw. When I finally threatened to got the Michigan Attorney General's office I got a response and a refund from Pre Paid Legal.
Of course, Joe Delfgauw said he was sorry to see me leave and hoped there were no hard feelings.

Of course my initials aren't KJ, but that's really not important.

Not accusations at all - it's a matter of public record.  2 lawsuits were filed against you Dec 7, 2009 by the US of A and no cause code was entered.  It's purely speculation on what the charges are for but have a feeling I'm not far off.  Anyone can Google you and find it.  To make it easy though - here's the link:

(((Redacted)))

You're either playing dumb or haven't been served yet because you're hiding out.  Doesn't matter because you will be found and everyone who has been screwed by you will have their day.

Your stink follows you Joe.........it's just a matter of time..........

I know Joe Delfgauw and he owes me money!  He is a scam artist and anyone who goes near him run!!!  He preys on woman and uses their weakness against them.  If someone constantly needs to tell you what a great guy he is then he's trying to convince himself.

He only thinks about one person and that's himself.  He talks you into doing things for him and you want to to help.  I've met a few people that he owes money to and there are probably alot out there!

I wish all of you luck!

Hey KJ / Shirley

What address did you meet with the scammer at I would be very interested to know since he owes me money from a real estate deal and I've been tracking him down for years.

Maybe the solution is that we should NEVER EVER do business with anyone who works from a PO BOX. (Like Joe)  Or anyone who hide under LLC from different states (Like Joe) Or has kids he doesn't support (Like Joe).

What a self made LOOSER

Since you won't put your name and number, it's obvious these things aren't true.  As for 2 separate government lawsuit, those would be..............?

Please post your name and number, i'd love to chat.  Since i don't even know an ex-employee with the initials KJ, i'm sure you won't!

Why would you say that without any type of information?  Did she have to become an associate......no, of course not.  But every Admin i hired knew that was part of our system, and it was understood part of their compensation would come from pre-paid, even though they worked for me.

Again, post your name and your number and let's chat.  Or, call me

He IS a scam artist.  The US government is currently suing him in 2 separate lawsuits.  Most likely for mortgage or wire fraud.  It's disgusting the number of people he's hurt and destroyed for his own greed

Doesn't matter if it was necessary

AUTHOR: Bunnyhop - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 03, 2009

Doesn't really matter if it would have been necessary for her to be an associate in order to accomplish her duties.

If it was mandatory for her to be an associate in order to be placed in that position, was informed prior to employment and she agreed to it then it's perfectly acceptable.

I know far too many people who will say YES to anything in order to get a job only to suddenly have a selective memory about it once they have the position.

While I certainly think she is perfectly in her right to remove herself from the position once she realized the terms (although agreed to) were not what she was expecting.

However filing a scam report about it ...especially anonymously is entirely uncalled for.

It sounds like her biggest beef is with getting the cancellation resolved with pre-paid legal.

Of course I'm wondering why she needed to get a refund from PrePaid Legal when (by her own admission) Joe was paying for her first month as an associate...then, if by chance it was her who wound up paying up front instead...it's her own fault for giving away her money without understanding the situation.

Sounds like a confused person simply trying to bend the truth so she can sound like a victim when in fact it more sounds like she misunderstood what she was getting into, paid money without understanding what she was paying for and then decided to play the "scam" card when she finally made sense of what was she was involved in without actually trying to resolve it like a rational human being.

very interesting MARTA

AUTHOR: The Bad Network, Llc (building The American Dream) - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, May 17, 2009

I was informed of this report about 2 weeks ago, and since it looks like an disgruntled employee whining, i just blew it off. But I think people deserve the whole truth. My name is Joe Delfgauw and I own The BAD Network, LLC in Highland, Michigan. i was looking to hire a few Administrative Assistants for distributors within my organization, and yes, MARTA, you came in to interview. We spent 2 hours togethor and i thought you were a good match. You then accepted the position, SIGNED A CONTRACT, and were suppose to start. You knew you were suppose to answer the phone as a telemarketer for the first 2 weeks, I HAVE 2 OTHERS THAT WERE IN THE ROOM WITH YOU TO PROVE THAT, so to say it was a surprise just goes to show you weren't listen, paying attention or maybe this shows why you were out looking for a job. The reason i said "no hard feelings" was that i put some time and effort into the ad, training, interviewing, and starting you......the no hard feelings was on MY end, not yours.

I don't wish to make this a he said, she said arguement.....the truth is, most of the things you said on here are true......but i find it very interesting that you write a report saying i am ripping people off, yet you don't put anything in there that suggests i ripped you off....i didn't take your $$$, i didn't promise you anything that wasn't true, and the girl i hired right after you....Nicole.....is doing the job now and doing it well.......and most importantly, WHY DIDN'T YOU USE YOUR REAL NAME?????????? Shirley? Cmon Marta, if you think I'm ripping people off, call the state, sue me or at least use your real name! lol

If anyone wants to talk about this, do any research or if anyone really cares, call me---Joe Delfgauw (yes, i am a real person) at 248-890-5900 yes, that is a real #)!

Sincerely,

Joe Delfgauw
Owner
The BAD Network, LLC (Building the American Dream!)
and, yes, I am a real person!
