Premier Dead Sea Cosmetics I am fuming to the point where I would be breathing fire if I could at this unethical rip off business!! Here is a summary of how this business works: There is a small kiosk with the ‘sweetest’ sales people selling these ‘top of the line unique’ cosmetics! None of the products that they are selling have any prices marked anywhere for you to read. They show you prices on their computer screens where next to the product is an outrageous price written. I am fuming to the point where I would be breathing fire if I could at this unethical rip off business!! They loot you there by making you think you are getting huge price markdowns and free gifts because you are so ‘nice’. They also throw in a free facial at their sister salon which is conveniently located in the same mall.

The sales person insists on taking you to the salon right after you pay up despite your protests because she needs to let the salon know of the unusual deal(free facial) she has given you. She just ‘hopes she won’t get into trouble for doing all this for you’. So she takes you to the salon where you think you will just be talking to the receptionist and leaving after making an appointment! But noo..here there is an even more aggressive sales pitch waiting to pounce on the unsuspecting you! And if you don’t give in, they mock and insult you in front of a lot of people! I was even shown before and after pictures of customers who just had the treatment I was being offered on a tablet. I am also concerned whether or not those people knew their pictures were being taken and are being shown to other people!

And here is the detailed story of what happened to me: I was walking in the mall with my toddler baby when I crossed this kiosk. I was approached by a sweet looking young girl who asked me what I did for my nails etc. I didn’t want to be dragged into a sales pitch so I kept giving non interested answers while trying to remain polite. My baby started to get restless in her stroller and I told the girl I don’t have time for her demonstration of how well the stuff worked on my nails. The girl told me it would only take 5 seconds. The demonstration was indeed quite amazing. I told her I was impressed but I didn’t really need it and I would just refer it to a friend.

She told me the nail kit was regularly 89$ but since “I was so nice”, I would get one kit as a gift if I bought one kit at $69. I immediately thought hmm I could just gift these to close friends. I paid up and started to walk away with my now very frustrated baby but the girl pulled me back in and said ‘let me do something very nice for you’. I was like ok?

She then proceeded to put some scrub on my wrist and started that demonstration. I was reluctant but then I was planning to buy the scrubs etc anyways from target. I thought why not pamper myself with these purely organic and mineral enriched and other jargon sales lady kept saying,  especially if she was manually marking down stuff into the computer for me and throwing in free stuff including 2 facial treatments of my choice at the sister salon! She told me total would be 225$ for products that would last me for 2 years..I told her I don’t have it..to which she responded by punching in 145$ because ‘she liked me so much’ . I gave in and paid up. I thought it was over but little did I know..

The sales person then told me that they don’t really give away free facials so she needed to take me to the salon and let them know. She handed me two vouchers. So we got to the salon and she left me after introducing me to another lady. This lady was very dominating and chatty. She asked me to hand in my vouchers so she could authenticate or God knows do what with them. She introduced herself as the owner and told me she would apply some stuff on half side of my face so I could see the difference the cream made! I told her I don’t have time and my baby is waiting. She told me it would take less than 2 minutes!

During these ‘2 minutes’ that lasted good 15 minutes she went on and on with her sales pitch telling me how bad my skin was and how much care it needed, how my face was my business card and what the world was seeing me as with this skin. She mentioned that a famous Syrian singer and Arabian princesses come to her for facial . I did notice the difference right away on my face with the cream she had put on. Out of nowhere she yells at an employee ‘ ‘Donno Tello!!  why aren’t you paying attention to the customer who just walked in?? Why are you standing around?? “ I was mortified for ‘Donno Tello’

Anywhoos I told her I really had to go but she kept talking and pushing her product. She told me one bottle was 250$ which I found on amazon to be 40$ later on! She wanted me to pay 700$ for 4 bottles that ‘my skin was crying out for’ .. I told her I don’t have that much money..she immediately brought it down to 300$ and threw in 3 facials. (stuff that I now see on amazon for 150$ ). She told me that I wasn’t realizing that she was the owner and the only one to have the privilege of marking it down to this low. She told me that she isn’t here every day and that I needed to take this deal because it’s not something that I could get every day from just anybody.  The second she realized she couldn’t get a sale out of me, her whole expression changed. She said take care hun abruptly and turned away.

Releived I started running towards the other kiosk where my mom and baby were waiting for me. I didn’t even realize that she hadn’t given me back the vouchers or the receipt for the stuff I bought(it was with the vouchers).I realized this after I went home. Anywhoos later that evening we were passing that salon again and I pointed it out to my mom. My mom wanted to see what was so special about those creams so she walked in.

I didn’t go in out of fear of being dragged into another long sales pitch.  I kept watching my mom through the glass window as she walked in. Mom told me later that the sales lady kept asking mom how much money she had to which my mom didn’t give a direct answer. Mom told her that her daughter(me) had just been in their salon. After this my mom walked out of the store towards me.

We all took about 10 steps away from the store when I hear ‘Misss …Missss??’ from behind! I look back to find the mean lady shouting at me’ You didn’t want to come in so you sent in your mommy?’.OMG Can she do that? How rude and illiterate!! Is this high school or something?? Someone needs to take action against these rip offs and unethical scammers! When I came to report here, I saw that many others have had same or worse experiences with these guys in different US States .

Not only did I pay atleast 130$ more for all the stuff under the false pretext of crazy markdowns and free products, I got mocked and insulted ! I have no proof that I was given the deal of 2 free facials within next 6 months because she took away my vouchers! Furthermore I was told that the stuff I bought is 2 years worth of supply but now that I know they are rip offs I am really beginning to question if this tiny bottle would last me for 2 years or not!
