I hosted a show for Premier Home Show last October and signed a contract that I would be paid in 14 days. It is almost 6 months later and I have not been paid. I even put a few hundred dollars of expenses on my credit card that have not been reimbursed. I have tried numerous times to collect payment and have not been successful I just want to be paid so I can move forward.

I am also an ex employee of the company...to be honest...a rather productive one. In 2 1/2 months i managed to "raise" close to $85,000 for brad and laura on what I assumed was a legitimate business. it was only when i started asking questions that I was let go by larry hargrove...who is also a piece of work. anyway, for john in anna arbour, before larry let me go for unproductiveness, i backed up may hard drive and i have the pipeline for 5 shows including builder, contractors who paid, how much they paid, address, phone numbers, contact names, etc...

They also owed me money, close to 4K, but I never complained because I didnt want dirt on my hands. But if you guys are going after them, I would also like my compensation owed to come out of their pockets.

Anyway, the reason I posted this was because I recieved my 6th phone call this year from someone who I sold a package to that never recieved any services. Enough is enough Brad and Laura, these are hardworking, small, honest businesses that you are stealing from. You have no idea how far this goes. One small subcontractor even called me to let me know that because of the Premier Home Show, he had to close his business because he bought a "Platinum" package for $10,000 that was never delivered.

If an indictment or prosecution becomes a reality law enforcement might want to look into his father's business as well. He has been embezzling money from what started as an honest business for years. If the IRS does get involved I would suggest they look there as well it seems the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.

Robin,

Were you the host of the shows that they have on tvshow1.com? If so, i thought that you did a great job and you should be hosting for a high quality and ethical company. I believe that i can place you in touch witn one such company.

Barry and Robin, do you have any names and city/state of clients from whom the Premeir Home Show signed contracts, took money, and (to the best of your knowledge) failed to perform to the contract (did not satisfy the contract)? Do you know any past employees who have this information that you could ask to sign up to www.ripoffreport.com to provide this information it would be a great help.

Apparently Owen Rogers and Brad Huard ran similar companies in Michigan and when they left they also left unpaid employees and potentially unsatisfied contracts. This was alleged to me yesterday by two past employees from Michigan. Apparently these two have a very colorful background and the story was very entertaining, and from the comments on this website, very credible. Unfortunately, they are leaving a trail of broken promises and they seem to be damaging the trust that builders place in marketing companies. They are also damaging the live's of their past employees. It would be best if they were brought to justice.

Please respond as the information would prove to be very beneficial. Please do all in your power to contact your past associates. Ask them to contact their past associates. Let's get this documented and on this website.

I feel for you

Believe me - they did not pay me for the last weeks of pay when I left. It took them 4-5 months to finally pay me about 1/2 of what I was supposed to receive. I was just happy to get anything at all. They were 2 weeks away from MAJOR legal action. They had made numerous stories about why the could not pay - they even told me that they were going to take out the money they owed to me because of print job that was put through after I left the company. Yes I did get paid in the end - but they really had no choice - if they had not paid me I would have had to take it to court and would have been drawn out for over 8 - 12 months (my attorney said). My suggestion is to take legal action. Once they see how serious you are they will move. I would to suggest to call the workforce department of clearwater florida. - Good luck.
