Priceline Priceline illegally holds your credit card information Internet

Tried booking some flights through Priceline but my purchase was never confirmed by Priceline via an email they said they would send you within 15 minutes.  Called the 800 number they gave me for my itinerary request and was given a computer message that my purchase didn't go through.  I called my credit company four days later and learned more than $2,000 of pending charges was on hold by Priceline, thus reducing my available credit limit that I need to buy my tickets through another company.  Called Priceline many times until I finally was able to reach a live person by going through their sales department.  That right, the 800 number they give you doesn't connect you to anyone to resolve your problems.  This act by Priceline is down right wrong and they should know if the tickets are unavailable, they should never put a hold that long and clear the transaction immediately, especially when they're dealing with large dollar amounts.  It's like going to the store and the store charges you $100 for something you never bought.  Never use Priceline again.
