Called Priceline to get a good deal on a Hotel in Bend, OR. Booked the Hotel and then I injured my back on the day of the trip. Called Priceline and asked if I could use the Hotel for another trip at a future date and they said no refunds or cancellations allowed.

I told them I have several friends who have over 10,000 people on their email list and I would let everyone know that Priceline would not let me use the Hotel for a future date when I injured my back.

Read the fine print

I use Priceline alot and to avoid this in the future, next time, check the box that states Travelers Insurance..yes for $5 dollars a night, you could cancel if you had to and Priceline would refund your money.  Try reading all the information on the page and you won't get suckered next time.

Sounds like a YOU PROBLEM

AUTHOR: KemChi - (United States of America)

YOU Booked the room on the dates that YOU selected
YOU Clicked the AGREE to Terms button and Agreed to the Terms of the sale.
YOU injured your back, and could not make the trip..
YOU decided that the rules no longer applied to you, and that you are special and should be able to somehow become exempt from Priceline's policy..

This sounds like a YOU PROBLEM. Not a Priceline Problem..

Most companies don't respond well to threats.
