I was contacted by Primerica,and actually attended one of their cultish little gatherings. Primerica reminds me a lot of organized religion: they'll promise you pie in the sky tomorrow so that you'll eat their s**t today. I walked out of their meeting after they got to the part about giving them $200, and the guy kept calling me and asking for names of people that might be interested in their "opportunities and services."

After the third phone call, I gave him some names all right...of ten recent parolees, who were convicted of violent offenses and are currently living in the Des Moines area. 5 of them had done time for killing multiple people and three of *them* are categorized as having "severe anger management problems." The remainder of the leads I gave the guy had done time for male-on-male sex crimes.
