Principal Financial Group Mr. Charles Wilson Mrs. Tracy Hooper ripoff be careful Des Monies Iowa

The address on my letter head does not match the area code so I am not sure what the address is, I do however know the area code belongs in Nova Scotia. I was lucky and spoke with my father about this and he told me to call my bank. My bank told me to look for the bank that this check came from and call them. So I did. Thank god cause it was not a real check number I almost got into more trouble than it was worth and being a sing mom with limited income I'm not sure what the come would have been.

On 6/9/06 I recieved a letter from Principal Financial Group dated 5/29/06 Stating I won $79,500.00 and that the chasiers check in the amount of $4,885.00 was to cover the fees and taxes of my winnings. It also state not to cash it till called " Mrs. Tracy Hooper immediatley at 1-904-412-2754".

The cashiers check was supposably from Sun Trust Bank. I contacted them and found out that it was not a vaild check number.

I am glad I talked to my dad first but hopefully this will help someone else. My bank gave me this web address to find banks www.fdic.gov. I hope this helps everyone.
