*UPDATE Employee: Stopping it
This refers to an identity services company listed under several names and showing up on bills usually with 'AP9' in the charge field. It may be based in Connecticut. Among the line items I see on my bill:
AP9*PMIDENTITY.COM 888-840-6301 CT
AP9*CREDITDIAGNOSIS 800-379-5036 CT
AP9*YOURSAVINGSCLUB 877-820-7107 CT
The company offers a $1 service to view your credit. However, it is provided as a free 7-day trial offer. My Discover card is being billed $29.95 for two different services, plus a $1 service fee, plus a $1 service fee for each of three items, each month, for a total of $62.90 per month.

#1 UPDATE Employee
Stopping it
AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

To stop it you would want to start by calling the company at the numbers they provide on the statement, and request it to be canceled. Also make sure that you get a cancelation number and verify if anything must be mailed, etc. If you do mail a request, send it w/ delivery confirmation (certified) so you have proof you did infact cancel the service.
Next would you could try (not saying you will def get good results...but it never hurts to try) to dispute those charges. For that you would just call Discover Card and tell them you do not recognize those charges. They will be removed from your statement while Discover does it's investigation. And just so you don't have to worry about it through the entire process...it will come down to wither or not the company states they will charge a monthly fee. Usually for these kind of companies it is in the "Terms and Conditions" area that most people dont read (guilty myself). If it is there, then Discover will not beable to resolve the dispute in your favor as...the company did state the charges would be posted. Hope that helps to get it taken care of for you.
