Share Parker and Chris Pardue, the owners, are thieves, and liars. They defrauded me out of $200,000, 2.5 years at 60-80 hours of work per week. Looking to get something for nothing. I invested upwards of $200,000, built the shiftwizard.com and myshiftwizard.com application. All under a descent set of agreements. When I called their bluff on being partners, they held the debt they owe me, over my head to train a replacement. I trained the replacement, and they made it really clear that I have to sue to get my money. Im now broke and cant afford to sue. I hope this online complaint will wake them up. This was the last of my money from a software company that I founded and sold, a few years before.

If you are a potential customer, watch out for the one sided agreements, and any negotiations with Shane Parker or Chris Pardue. Theyll try to stick it to you. All customers pay different rates. Its based on as much as they can get from each hospital.  If only their customers knew the disparate pricing schedule.  I tried for years to get strait forward pricing published on their website. These guys dont belong in business. They need to go back to nursing. Concerio is a much better choice.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

An Obvious Factually Inaccurate Post by a Competitor Pretending to be a Former Disgruntled Employee Attempting to Discredit ProMediCorps

AUTHOR: Unnamed - ()

POSTED: Monday, May 06, 2013

As a former contractor (Software Engineer) for ProMediCorps (PMC), I can without a doubt attest to the fact that this posting must’ve been posted by a competitor attempting to discredit PMC’s name.  I knew Rob well, and worked with him while doing work for PMC, while Rob was contracted with them, and he was a great Software Engineer.  He was instrumental in helping with the transition of their old asp application to an updated .net application.

To my point above, if you read the posting carefully, there are numerous inaccuracies and discrepancies that don’t make sense, and would be uncharacteristic of anything Rob would write.  I’ve pointed them out below:

1:  The posting appears to have been constructed by a 5th grader, which is evident based on the elementary spelling and grammar.  An educated Software Engineer would never have written this complaint with obvious disregard to grammar.  As a matter of fact, one of the owners' names, Shane, is spelled incorrectly.

2:  The poster then states that he “built the shiftwizard.com and myshiftwizard.com application.”  This is an obvious fallacy, as Shift Wizard has been around since 2005.  Rob helped to update their solution to the current Shift Wizard application (v4.5), after joining the PMC team around 2010, I believe.

3:   The poster then states “If you are a potential customer, watch out for the one sided agreements.”   I’m not aware of any major organization, such as a hospital, that would blindly sign some sort of “one sided agreement.”  From my dealings with large organizations in the past, these organizations certainly have a legal team/department that would review any document before executing the agreement.

4:  The poster then states “All customers pay different rates.”  Of course all customers pay different rates since PMC’s pricing is based on the organization's bed count for each hospital, among many other factors and variables.  No single hospital is going to pay the same price as another hospital, although it would be similar.

5:  The poster then states “The pricing is based on as much as they can get from each hospital.”  Since one of PMC’s major advantages over their competitors is their pricing, this is completely inaccurate. Their pricing is significantly less than their competitors’ pricing, so how could they possibly be trying to gouge their customers?

6:  The poster then states “I tried for years to get strait [sic] forward pricing published on their website.”  Why would PMC advertise their prices for their competitors to see?  That information is obviously kept secret, and only potential customers are privy to PMC’s pricing.

7: The user then states, “Concerio [sic] is a much better choice.”  Why on earth would ANY Software Engineer state in one sentence that he invested $200k and many, many hours developing an application, only to turn around and say that the competitor’s application is much better?  That statement alone completely disparages his own work, so why would he write something negative about himself, making himself out to be a substandard Software Engineer?

Also, notice how the poster misspelled Shift Wizard’s competitors’ name.  Was this purposeful, as to not get Concerro’s name to show up in any of the search engines when a search was done, or was it done out of pure ignorance?

So, saying all of that, Shift Wizard was a great company to work for.  Chris and Shane, both, are very ethical business owners, have always treated myself, their employees and and their customers with the utmost respect. Their customers love them and their solution.  This is extremely evident by the fact that they’ve never had a customer not renew a contract since the initial launch of Shift Wizard.

They’ve grown exponentially, and they’re constantly and consistently beating Concerro, Kronos, API etc.  From what I’ve been told, and heard in the industry, Shift Wizard is the only solution on the market that offers a bidirectional interface to Kronos, which makes them a major player in the healthcare workforce management arena.

Please don’t allow this factually inaccurate, fake posting to deter you from considering Shift Wizard.  It’s a shame that there are unethical competitors that would disparage a company like PMC, and use an individual’s name, such as "Rob," in order to gain business.
