They do not respond to letter nor telephone calls.
We tried tracing them thru their address they gave of 5580 canal BLVD, new orleans, la 70124 and nothing came up with that address. we then tried to look up this guy steve hansen in a online directory ... and there was no listing. We then tried doing a reverse telephone look up and it says " land line " with no other information. If you look at their publicity letter, it says way on the bottom... MODERN TECHNOLOGY Incorporated , New Orleans, Louisiana. So, we tried looking up this company in 411.com and Zaba Search.com... and Nothing.
We then went back on line and put their address in and found out the numbers in the online directory nothing shows up with the name of either company.. When you call their direct or toll FREE NUMBER some nit wit recording comes on... it sound like a drunk working out of his home. It is not professional, and we tried to cross reference the telephone number to no avail. STAY AWAY from this company. They claim they will get results for you in SKIP TRACING, IN CONTACTING the DEBTOR, BY SENDING THE DEBTOR LETTERS ... and... CALLING THE DEBTORS THEMSELVES. It's BULLSH*T. It would cost them more than the $1.00 they are charging in telephone calls, postage, envelopes, stationary and TIME. This Steve Hansen...is BOGUS... we believe the real name associated with this company is KINGSLEY HANSEN. We tried going to 411 and 411.com and there is NO LISTING. We are contacting the District Attorney in Baton Rouge, and the SECRETARY OF STATEat 225-922-1000 & 225-379-1207 on Wednesday. If you call 504-488-1234 listen to this half a**ed recording. It sounds like a moron who has a sixth grade education and stumbles through his message. I would think this is a SCAM and This Steve Hansen ( if that is his real name) uses the money to guy Burbon and CRAWDADS .. and is some guy who rips people off. My suggestion is STAY AWAY from this Company and this moron. You will get burned. He claims to have 15 employees... I DOUBT that SERIOUSLY. Also, if you type in your Bing, Yahoo or Google Search Bar Modern Technology, Inc... nothing comes up. This is the information they put on the bottom of their Advertisement / Letter.
This is a BOGUS - RIPOFF without a DOUBT in my Mind. You may want to check with the Post Office in New Orleans to see if there is a Company address ASSOCIATED with the Address of 5580 Canal Blvd and the actual Company itself. STAY AWAY from them. Do your HOMEWORK and see if this company is real or BOGUS. You would think when you call their number a different voice would come on... for get it. It is this moron with this inept voice mail. BE VERY- VERY - VERY CAUTIOS. we WENT BACK TO 411.COM AND RETYPED THE ADDRESS IN AND IT SHOWS 4 small companies AT the address in booths A, B, C AND D.... NONE OF WHICH BELONG TO PUBLIC DEBT REPORT OR MODERN TECHNOLOGY INC. WHICH IS A BOGUS COMPANY. CALL THE SECRETARY OF STATES IN NEW ORLEANS OR BATON ROUGE AND SEE WHAT YOU COME UP WITH. WE ARE EXHAUSTED TRYING... STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UNTIL YOU DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND SPEAK TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE DIVISION OF CORPORATIONS.
