THINK BEFORE YOU BUY OR PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS....I'd like to make you all aware of the character, attitude, quality of workmanship and ethical standards of Quality Auto Sound. 


After spending about $2,300 on a new install that included a head unit, amp, 12" JL Audio W/6 woofer in a high output box as well as door speakers. The car that it was installed within was totaled, no damage to the equipment.  After pulling the aftermarket equipment, my partner and I were excited to get it installed in our new vehicle.  So, the new install on the same equipment purchased at their location ran about $300.  Ok, understandable.  While the new install was taking place we were informed we needed to bring the spare key up because the car wouldn't start.  The key wasn't the problem. 


So Daniel there, who may be a bit passive-aggressive but not really a huge part of the problem, let us know the Uber ride to bring the key up and $35/day in rental car charges would be reimbursed until it was determined if the problem lay with their install or was related to the car and just happened to not start in their bay.  The statement, "we are totally insured" was made several times and at no time was it stated that NO REIMBURSEMENT would be provided AT ALL. While the Nissan dealership looked at their connections/install to determine if there was any problem with their install no valid answer was given for quite some time.  Either way, after being the way we were, it's likely we will end up getting screwed by their, "LIFE TIME INSTALLATION LABOR PROTECTION".  Don't waste your money. This experience has been totally unnerving and highly stressful.


It turns out it was unrelated to the install.  Ok, no problem.  However, the 2 Uber rides and 2 to 3 days of rental car charges would not be reimbursed while the car was being diagnosed.  They stated they needed "ASE Certified technicians" to check QAS's work as they went through it themselves and needed their work double checked. 


So, on top of this request for a few days of partial reimbursement, The General Manager, Bryan Wilson was downright disrespectful.  I posed the question to their location, "Are a few days of rental car reimbursement worth losing a customer that was going to be purchasing a few more thousand dollars of equipment in the future?"  Their answer was, "We aren't their only business." 


I honestly can't remember the last time I worked with a business that was so absolutely unprofessional, demeaning and frankly couldn't give a sh*t. The attitude is the worst part. I mean, come on.


SO, IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE, there are better places in Denver to take your car for install and equipment purchase, besides this place and Car Toys.  You may have to wait a little longer for install but there's a reason for that.  Why take your baby to a place that over charges for equipment, lacks common decency when dealing with customers and has the general feel that a DIY would have been less hassle.
