Big sounding name with one nasty guy who TAKES your $10 then you get an old a*s app that does absolutely NOTHING. Hes in Austin, Texas and this worthless app should get removed so other consumers doesnt get ripped off.


You pay for the app then post a problem on his useless fodumand he shuts down your comment and removes it.  Now, he starts "responding" on googleplay to all the negative feedback trying to save a crappy app. Instead of pulling this s**t or refunding those that are not of the bogus "positive" votes.

Its a bad app, bad so-called developer, bad experience.

Buyer beware.

 I came across this complaint by chance. I can only think something went horribly wrong for the complainant. I have used Enhanced Email for two years on HTC phones. It is excellent and gets better. The contact I have had with the developer has been responded to promplty, courteously , helpfully and practically. It is rare to be able to deal directly with the man with his head under the bonnet (or hood - I am in the UK). He is contstantly keen to improve the program. Do look at his Google+ - all quite open, and friendly. All that worries me is how he can make a living since each update so far is free, and the program was not expensive.

Different experience

The complaint says

appthat does absolutely NOTHING. android app that does NOT work

I have been using EE for over a year. I use it with Outlook.com, MS Exchange, and Gmail accounts on a daily basis. I have had a few issues, but the author has provided reasonable responses, in relatively good time. Based on my limited experience, the author has been open to suggestions in both Google + and the forum.

I encourage anyone trying to decide if they want to do business with Quantum Solutions look at the specifics of the people complaining. There was another person making a complaint because he could not figure out how to change the notifications.

This report includes only that 1) the app does nothing and 2) it does not work - my personal experience is very different: 1) the app processes my email from mulitple accounts and 2) works fine on the 3 android devices based on my hands on experience.

Have been a happy EE customer for over 2 years now, and I still am...

I purchased EE a bit more than two years ago, and have been happy with this software since the beginning.

It is true that some versions had bugs, with some of these bugs also being in Google's own email client. But updates kept coming, and with the price of just under 10$ (the cheapest non-OOB email client with ActiveSync support currently available), I was happy enough to wait a week or two to get a fix. I even bought a second license for my wife's mobile, and, to date, she has not complained about it.

The developer runs a forum and is also present on Google+, and he has not ever failed to reply to my questions or comments. At one point in time, I asked for support to get ActiveSync Autodiscovery working for a private server using my very own implementation of the server side Autodiscovery protocol. Needless to say that my case was rather weak...Nevertheless, the developer contacted me, I set up a test account for him, and he debugged and fixed it.

Since my initial purchases (20$), I have received at least 20 upgrades of EE. Recently, the developer has started the endeavor of modernizing his application to take full advantage of Android 4.x He explored a number of options, created beta versions for those different options, and let us users test them. There was a vivid discussion on the forum, and based on the majority opinion, the developer chose the option that we felt would provide the best value for both existing and new customers. I am currently running the latest beta, and so far it works flawlessly.

I wonder what must have happened to trigger the urge to file a report like this one. Although I am a regular visitor of the EE support forum, I cannot recall reading anything, at any moment, that would support those accusations.

And, just to make this very clear. I have no relation with the developer, except that I one of his customers.

Just to be clear the only comment from the developer is the first reply. The rest are from users happy with the product. I can understand being unhappy and not feeling you got what you paid for, but there is a far cry from a product not delivering on what it promises and something you feel is old and outdated. As I said, the cost not only goes to development but licensing. There are no other Android products that use Active Sync at this price. Development may be a bit slow, but there is a lot that goes into this. He is obviously an active developer and this smear campaign is a waste of time.

Come on. In your original rant you complain about the app doing nothing at all and in your second post you complain about specifics like battery consumption and certain features broken. You are aware that you are contradicting yourself, are you?

Anyways, I am an EE user for about a year now and while I agree that the interface looks a bit tired (update worked on right now as far as I know), the app does what it says on the box - and better than some other mail apps.

I don't know what set you on your mission against Quantum Solutions, but you will realise that it's hard to find anybody who is of the same opinion like you. The reason is not fake posts or something, but the fact that what you say is complete and utter B*llsh*t.

I have been using EE for the past 2 years and I really disagree with the comments posted here. I am an Android User and use a lot of Apps for work and personal. But I have not come across one developer who supports its users to the extend he does. I have had issues during some of his releases (which is normal), but when reported he was quick to fix it and even released updates quickly to ensure that people are not impacted.

I have had several interactions with this developer and have seen in his forum's where he has even refunded the money who were dissatisfied. People who are unhappy, the only thing I can say is they have not used other email apps out there. This is the best I have seen so far.

The "developers" recent replies here is proof he/she is trolling consumer sites because she knows consumers are getting fed up with a crappy app theypaid $10 a pop and got J U N K for over 2 years now and when you question the developers reasons for no updates and why the S A M E B U G S (basically BROKEN app) are creeping back,  including the app EATS BATTERY LIFE MORE THAN MULTIPLE APPS AND PROCESSES, and its the DEVELOPER who gets beligerent and condescending just as she is in her posts here, all of which is yet another damage control attempt.

BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. IT COULD BE A MALWARE AT BEST.

Enhanced Email is a great application

I've used Enhanced Email for around 18 months now and have nothing but positive comments about the app and the developer.

I started out using the market version, but have more recently been beta testing newer versions. The developer is very active and helpful on his forums and is constantly seeking to work with users to continue to develop and improve the app.

I don't know what you're problem with the app is as I've never had an issue.

Quantum Solutions is a solid developer

Let me just say that development takes extreme time and effort, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes at any company or with any developer that the public is or isn't aware of.

The developer of Enhanced Email here in referred to as QS(Quantum Solutions) pretty much lays everything out in the Play Store description that there are issues in relation to certain versions of Android. There is support available on the developers own website(also listed and referenced in the Play Store description), with instructions on how to go about receiving support and if necessary access to beta non public builds of said application if you are able to verify your purchase.

QS has responded to all of my own personal concerns in regards to the application, and has gone well above and beyond any other developer I've contacted and purchased products from. This in conjunction with my opening line says a lot about QS, about the customer service that is provided and the wanting to provide a complete and solid application. QS is working on stabilizing and polishing their software, asking for their own user base for input on suggestions for what key features to implement and more. An individual need only spend a few minutes on the forum to see the lengths that QS goes to in order to provide status updates, and responses to user inquiries.

If the user who filed the complaint spent time on the support forum, read the rules, followed instructions (having done their own due dillegence) their issue would be handled without fail. Be patient, and provide any and all necessary information that is being requested for that resolution. More importantly though; convey your issue in a far clearer, concise manner than you did here.

Yeah This Guy Has No Idea What He Is Taking About

I have dealt with Enhanced Email for the past two years, one of the best programs I have ever dealt with both the developer and the forum administrators as well as the users have been more then helpful more then once. I have never been belittled, discouraged, or attacked. I've received prompt responses. In fact I have never even heard about your website but I join it so that I could create a rebuttal against the person that has filed this false report. I have recommended enhanced email to almost every single one of my friends that uses exchange email on an android phone and they also have never had a single issue with the software that either myself, the developer, the forum administrators or other users have not been able to help them with. I would appreciate it if the forum moderators here would close this complaint as it is clearly not valid.

Nothing but a Good Experience

I can say I have had the opposite experience. I certainly don't know the full side of this story, but I love this app. It does what it is designed to do and more. Works a lot better than some of the other email apps out there for Android and for half the price of some of them. (my understanding is the $10 helps pay licensing needed to work with Active Directory). I have had no major issues, but the developer is active and has responded to questions and feedback regularly.

Enhanced Email is the best third party Android email app I have encountered

Dear Sir,

Enhanced Email has been nothing but a pleasure to use.  I particularly love its ability to bypass Exchange policies, which is what drew me to it in the first place.  I have been using the app daily for nearly a year and a half.

Your complaint that the app does not work is incorrect.  If you believe it to not work, I am apt to say you don't know how to use it correctly.  The app works fine, as thousands of users have experienced.

You say the author of the app took your $10.  There is a free 7 day trial of the app available on the forum site.  Did you neglect to try it first to see if it suited your needs?

If you continue to dislike the app, have you even bothered to contact the author to try to request a refund?  You don't mention that in your initial emotion-filled post.

Additionally, can you cite examples of the author "shutting down" your forum posts?

False accusations

Dear sir from Houston,TX, I am absolutely appalled that you should make such false accusations. You stated that you left a problem on my forum and it got removed. What you failed to mention is you became belligerent and did not follow the terms of conditions. Your account was banned by the forum administrator as many people began complaining of your vulgar language being used. This is not ok and the overall purpose of a forum is to engage with users and allow other users to engage with you as well.

Now, you mention that I began responding to comments in the Play Store and this is absolutely correct. Google "just" gave me the ability this past week to respond to reply inline to comments by users. This has been rolling out for months now as explained here (((link redacted))).

I have attempted to contact you repeatedly both in the Play Store and via Google+ and you have refused to respond so I can help you out. I have screenshots of all my attempts at reaching you so please don't say that I haven't tried my upmost best to do so. 

There are 1,224 5-star ratings on my app so that should speak for itself as to the quality of the application. It's obvious you are unhappy and thus taking to the waves to cause losses against my company. Please be advised this is not an example of free speech and legal action will be taken against you if it continues including filing suit for defamation. It's one thing to have a grievance and leave a comment in the app store. It's another to take to the internet and cause defamation against a company when your argument is completely invalid. Please see Texas's very clear Defamation laws which protect against individuals like you that have no merit or truth to your argument (((link redacted)))
