Ralphs Sells Expired Food Ripoff Corona California

This Ralphs store sells expired food. I have been shopping there for about a year now. About six months ago, I realized that I had bought an expired package of flour tortillas, I thought maybe it was just my luck! But then a couple of times later, it happened again this time with a package of beef franks (for hot dogs).

Then the next time it was with some tortilla chips I realized they were expired because I opened the bag as soon as I got out of the store; I came back told the clerk and she said to go get another bag... so I went back and I find myself with about 4 bags that were expired, so I took them to the register pretty upset and asked her why they were selling those. She said, "thats not our problem the vendor is the one thats supposed to check."

Still, I continued to shop there since I live in a new community, and that is the only grocery close to home. Every time I go shopping I have to look at every item and make sure they are not expired, and always manage to find something on the rack that is expired.

And the reason that made me file this report is because, today I went again and I bought a package of Flinstones Multivitamins for my two year old son, and just being silly I stuck one in my mouth before I did to him, and it tasted funny. So I look in the side and the expiration date read: 05/2006...Just for the record todays date is 01/02/2007. That was the last straw.

Imagine if I didnt do that I would be feeding my toddler expired vitamins. I called and the manager said: "Well thats weird I have never before received any complaints...". My God must be cause you trust where you shop and usually you dont check every single item you purchase! or at least you shouldnt have to.
