Ramada Plaza Resorts ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing deception Fort Lauderdale Florida

In January 2005 My girlfriend and myself went to a health show in Victoria B.C. Canada. I had entered a draw and been called 2 weeks later to say that i "WON" this great trip for four to Florida all done by Ramada Plaza Resorts (RPR). They had told me that if i bought one ticket for the whole florida package, that another 3 people were going to be included for free! SO...

I had purchased this "$698.00" package On February 16th of 2005! It was a ripoff!

Ramada Plaza Resorts had told me and i quote "airfair, hotel and car rental are all included in this package" this is the only reason that I purchased this package in the first place. RPR had given myself and the people that i had planned to take 18 months to decide when we wanted to go on this seemingly "wonderful" trip. RPR also gave me the option to pay another $198.00 U.S. for 2 nights stay aboard a cruise to the Bahamas which i took advantage of on December 12th 2005.

so assuming that i had gotten what i thought was a good deal, i bought the trip and that was that. I then called to confirm our reservations for our flights and the guy on the phone said that i now had to pay for the all 4 flights and there would also be hidden fees that i had to pay for!!! i told the representative that i talked to, that this was not acceptable and that i wanted a refund! The representative on the phone told me that my trip would not be refundable and they failed to mention this anytime prior to this conversation. This all took place March 13th 2006. The representative on the phone gave me the runaround and kept on passing me off to someone else to which i had to wait on the phone for an hour trying to get in contact with someone who could help me with my problem.

So to make a long story short.... the trip has been schedualed for April 22nd and i am running out of time I GOT RIPPED OFF!! i am currently in the process of getting my money refunded. I will get it refunded!
