As others who have posted here, we, too, had a son signed up for the 2nd summer session in 2007... Only to receive a phone call a few days before the camp began to inform us they would not have the 2nd session supposedly due to bad weather that had damaged power lines, etc... We were informed we could receive a refund and/or could apply the monies to a session in 2008. We elected to receive a refund.

Both my wife and I have spoken with "Commandant" (what a joke!!) Denton and/or his wife, Ginger, no fewer than 5 separate times since last summer inquiring about our refund. Fortunately, we only had sent a deposit ($500), and our airline tickets were reusable... But this arrogant p***k of a scum-bag has yet to "honor" his word that he would send us our refund, always pleading like a little girl "I need just a little more time and I will get you your money... I promise.." Yeah... Right... It is interesting that his website no longer contains a contact phone number or an email address... Only a PO box...

WOW - I wonder why?????

Do NOT even entertain the thought of sending your child to these people... Despite all claims in his marketing material about teaching honor and discipline and ethics, "Commandant" Denton and his wife do not have the slightest clue as to the meanings of those words. Heaven help what exactly is being taught at Reality Ranch. You certainly CAN'T trust what they promote on their website based on their actions in real life!

BTW - yes, we have contacted the Attorney General in Arizona regarding the Dentons and Reality Ranch...
