The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Chris Garner an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases towards Reece Builders.

Reece Builders is a home improvement company that specializes in window and door replacement for residential homeowners. They have been in business for 45 years, and have developed a quality reputation in the southern Florida and North Carolina regions. Their website states the following, "Reece Builders was founded by Mike Reece Sr. and has installed window replacements and doors for over 50,000 satisfied customers in Florida and beyond."

Leads for Reece Builders are obtained through several different avenues including canvassing, mailings, online marketing, and customer referrals. Chris Garner stated the following about his company's sales and services process for a potential client, "we have a marketing department that will seek out homeowners to receive free estimates at that point we confirm the appointments. Then we have a sales force that will sit down with the homeowner give an in-home presentation explain all about our company, our product, and answer any and all questions they might have. [We] leave them with a price and then when the homeowner wants to make a purchase they let us know. At that point we contract with the homeowner, we custom build and design a window system that best fits their needs and their budget have that custom built, show back up with our crews, install everything to however the specifications needs to be for the state of Florida at that point any service issues they may need we will handle 100% of them."





CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION – REECE BUILDERS

During the on-site interview, Mr. Garner was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service or product. Mr. Garner stated, "a recent one we had an installation crew install a sliding glass door that the manufacturing plant had mislabeled some stickers on the door which caused us to install the door incorrectly and it not work properly. Then we realized the mistake, the door had been removed and reinstalled a couple of time so the door frame got damaged." In order to remedy the situation, Reece Builders reordered a new door for their client and reinstalled it the next day.

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Garner stated the following, "one comment was an ex-employee that we found was going out and lying to the customers about special rebates that were available in the area." This ex-employee would offer these rebates in order to persuade the customer into using their services. This employee is no longer with Reece Builders and the company was unaware of his actions during his employment. In order to remedy this situation with their client, Reece Builders went to each customer's house that was promised a rebate and wrote them a check for the amount promised. In order to assure future and current clients, "we are a class A general contractor, we offer lifetime warranties for parts and service, we’re a member of the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating and 0 complaints against our service department, 0 complaints against any product that is out, there we’ve had only 1 complaint in 3 years with all the business we have done."
