The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Brad Cahon during an onsite inspection held by a third-party verification company with no biases towards ReferralCars.com.

ReferralCars is a vehicle advertising company that offers a program to help drivers earn money by driving with an advertisement on their vehicle. Brad Cahoon went on to explain the difference between his company and competitors, "they will offer one type of campaign I refer to it as a base pay campaign where they get paid for driving with their vehicle wrapped or partially wrapped and they earn anywhere from $75 to up to $350 and even $400 a month for just driving with their car fully wrapped or partially wrapped. And so, we do that as well. We offer base pay campaigns, but our base pay campaigns work a little bit different. We don’t pay out quite as much I would say because the advertisements are a little different from a traditional vehicle advertising company. Instead of a full vehicle wrap or a partial vehicle wrap where they are putting vinyl advertisements on their paint either wrapping the entire car or five panels or something like that our decals are small and go on the rear window only so there is no potential for razor blade knicks which often happen no matter how careful someone is when they are installing or removing the vinyl wrap. So, from that standpoint, we show that our base pay campaigns are superior because we eliminate potential damage to the vehicle by having a smaller decal on the rear window only."

Leads for ReferralCars are obtained primarily through social media via Facebook and Instagram. Mr. Cahoon went on to explain the sales and services process for his company, "so when you apply to our program we give just very basic details upfront and we take those details mostly based on their location and we assign them to an account manager who essentially puts them to work to find you a campaign that will work for you. So there are a couple questions that we ask in the application process to try and determine certain things that will help us match you to different campaigns. But at the end of the day, a lot of it is based on email and sometimes text message communication from your account manager that will help you get matched."


Mr. Cahoon was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. He expressed that in recent months his company had some technical difficulties which led to confusion for his clients, "we were using a company a third-party software company to manage the text inquiries and the automatic responses to be able to track and report sales back to our drivers. And this company had several outages that affected some and in one case all of our drivers at one point for a short amount of time, but it was a nightmare, to be honest working with them. They were dealing with a lot of issues themselves they were a smaller company based out of California and it really hurt us and that is what the reviews have shown." In order to remedy this, they have been working closely with the third party and their developers to fix the issue.

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Cahoon reiterated the technical difficulties they were experiencing. He proceeded to explain their resolution to this issue, "what we did in response is we built a custom in-house solution and essentially solved all of those issues that drivers had been experiencing and we ported over all of those keywords that had been registered on the old software program from the 3rd party software provider to our new in-house solution and since then we have had 0 issues. We feel like we have solved the problem and we have reached out to the drivers who were not happy and offered full refunds and you know anything else that we could do to make the situation better. "Additionally, ReferralCars has an A rating with the Better Business Bureau.

When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to making things right with the consumer per the request for Ripoff Report, Mr. Cahoon stated, "we are constantly improving our business model based on feedback from our drivers. So, we are looking at improving our social media presence primarily with Facebook so that our drivers can see all the new campaigns that are being launched. They can, kind of communicate with one another and get their questions answered by other drivers, which is probably a better experience in some cases than calling us because it is one of their peers and it is something that they can kind of get organically. I think that our continued push towards a stronger social media presence is one of our biggest differences."

This is all you really need to know, though: Google the company they tell you they're working with, Zoom Benefits. It doesn't exist. If no one is paying them to advertise, they're not going to pay you to advertise. They're going to charge you for ”shipping” at the end. Just leave the site.
