Zoom Benefits advertised with Referral Cars.com in this manner: Referral Cars sends you a decal (for the base cost of $6.95) for you to place on the rear window of your car. There are various upgrades offered, i.e. $2.00 more for a "memorable" number, and so forth. The decal would be an advertisement for Zoom Benefits, an on-line company offering reduced rates on anything from phone bills to travel. Members of Zoom Benefits pay a monthly fee. In theory, when someone sees the decal on your car and texts the code (individual to you) to the number provided and then joins Zoom Benefits, you get a commission on that monthly fee. One needs to register their "code" with Referral Cars upon receipt of the decal so they will know which person gets the commission. I received my decal...approximately 2 feet long x 1 foot wide. The phone number was (701)Kar-Wrap and above that was my code. I registered my code, waited 24 hours, as instructed, and then tested the code by texting my code to the Kar-Wrap number. I tried this a few times and absolutely nothing happened. I waited a day for a response to my "inquiry", but no response. I saw that this happened to others and supposedly the system was "down" and the problem was resolved in late November 2017. It is now December 2017 and the same thing is happening. I suppose we will be told the system went down yet again. So if we have this decal on our cars and people actually want to sign up for Zoom Benefits...how can they do that when they text and they get no response. I believe this whole thing is just a scam to get the money sent in to purchase the decal.

Absolutely a scam!

AUTHOR: Whitney - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, January 29, 2018

In my sign up I noticed in the "term & agreements” section, where you have to accept to continue, you have to agree that you will not accept any campaigns that require you to pay shipping and handling. I read it 20 times not understanding why I would agree to that when the video just said I may be required to pay s&h. I accepted thinking there would be more than one campaign offer but after the hounding emails and texts for zoom benefits only I realized this is nothing more than a scam. Not only do you pay to advertise for them but you also advertise that you fell for it:(

$100 gift card if no sign ups

AUTHOR: Jeane - (United States)

POSTED: Saturday, January 20, 2018

Okay, so I'm considering doing this. They state that if you order your decal and don't get any sales then Zoom Benefits pays you $100 in a gift card. Did you get your gift card?

Didn't work for me either

AUTHOR: Christina - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, January 11, 2018

Hey Guys,

This didn't work for me either.  I got my decal in December and activated the code rate away.  I live in the Houston, TX area so I drive all the time around millions of people.

Its been about a month and not 1 person has even texted in, according to the online log. So I tried it myself. Nothing.  Then I had a few friends try it as well. Nothing.  I sent an email requesting help and explaining the issue.  No response.

This has to be a scam.  Like the other person said.  Only way you get money is getting others to sign up for a decal. But I feel bad doing that.  Knowing people are signing up for a program that doesn't work.

I am glad the program is working for you.  But, no, I didn't enter the code on the decal incorrectly!  Obviously one would make sure all the information was correct prior to writting a report on the Ripoff web site.  I'm not the only person who encountered problems either.

Decal questions

AUTHOR: Referral cars decal recipient - (United States)

POSTED: Saturday, December 30, 2017

I received my decal and it is functioning properly, Also I have made money off referring people to the company, more than I paid for the decal. You must utilize the referral program aswell to make money. Could you have entered the code on the decal incorrectly when setting it up on referral cars?
