 They did the same thing to my 17 year old son paid him $1300 for 1428, 90% silver quarters. the minimal value was $3.47 per quarter or 1428 x 3.47 = $4955.00 they made more than $3500.00 ripping off a 17 year old kid. No wonder they were arested recently . I tried to reason with them and offered them $500.00 profit if they gave me either the coins back or the fair market value but they refused saying its water under the bridge. This is the reputation they have spent so long to achieve ripping off kids

We have responded to this person before and seeing that the date on this is over 5 years old we think it should be removed and we pay the going rate and are more than competitive with all gold buying entities.

In response to Micheal from Schnectady's claim that Regency Jeweler's pays 3.91 per gram for scrap gold is not true. Each batch of scrap gold is first identified as to the karat gold that it is because different karats have different amounts of gold in them,which Micheal from Schenectady conveiniently neglects to say what type of karat gold he had. Then it is weighed and current market price is used less assaying costs and customer is then paid quoted price. Should Micheal or others continue to make accusations that are not factually correct then Regency Jewelers will have no choice but to vigorously defend and aggressivly go after individuals that tarnish the excellent reputation that has taken many years to build.
