REGION MOTORS Walt Woldt Will take your money and not do the work! Hebron Indiana

After talking to Walt Woldt about my car I sent him pictures so he could give me a quote. He told me that if I got my car and a deposit by November of 2016 he would start on my car right away and it would be ready in the spring. I sent my car and deposit to Region Motors. Several months later, February 2017, I asked him hows it going, "we will be starting on it next week ". This went of for months. Always next week, next week. I called him in May to say I was stopping by to pick up my car and deposit. He promised they were working on my car so I didn't go. A month later, again I called to asked about a update, he said that they were going to start on it next week. I reminded him that he told me last month tbat he had already started. I told him I would be there tomorrow to pick up my car and deposit. When I got there the next morning they took out my motor the night before, even tho I told them I was picking my car up because they haven't done any work in 7 months. He promised my car was there top priority. Another month, no work was done, again I asked for my money and car back. Once again he promised, but needed more money to get going on it. I laughed.

Finnally in September I couldn't take it any longer he insisted that he wasn't going to give my money back, I picked up my car. They couldn't find my keys or the motor/trans or the parts they removed to get the motor and trans out. He told me that the motor was sent to a machine shop but didn't know where. Now he gave me a name and phone number and said he gave them to him. I stopped by the Hebron Police Department to asked what I could do, they informed me there had been over 50 people that have stop in over the last several years complaining about Region Motors and Walt Woldt. I then went to the court house, he had been sued many, many times. I guess I have to get in line. Do you research, he can't be trusted.
