Signed up for 1 month of service for through adult bureau. Upon furthur research I discovered that company is fraudulent and will charge customers even after canceling subscription. I just cancelled my subscription and received emails from both adult bureau as well as sweetheartsconnection confirming my cancellation. This company has billed me twice for a standard membership at $19.95 per month, but on their site they say it is free. When I contacted them, they said I did not set the auto renew to OFF, but I did, and every time I go back into the site to check, it has be reset to ON. Their customer service people clain it is my computer doing it and they can not be responsible. They now want me to delete the membership so all the records disappear! I have checked everyday now since the last charge and found the auto renew changed daily to ON, even though I change it daily to OFF. I have contacted my bank to dispute the charges and cancelled the credit card, Ipay, who handles their billing, the State Attorney Generals Office and the FBI Fraud Unit, all of these people seem to know about this company. You will see free trial access to adult sites everywhere on the net. Be aware you are required to enter your credit card number for age verification. You are told there will be no charge. You are charged the minute you press submit. I did this 7 times and was charged each transaction. No I was not charged because I exceeded the trial period, I was charged at the time I signed up. This directly contravenes what is clearly stated on the sign up pages. Hey this is not just for one website, it's for 99% of the Adult sites. Is this not fraud? Hi. I went on and orderesd some dvds. $70.00 worth and nver recived not one. On this day today, 8/4/2013, I figured out the so called name of the owner of the website was Doug Steimel and went to goole and typed in that name and I clicked on this website and seen the rip off reports already, so I decides to report my rip off from this website. I called police and one came out to my house and I made a report on it, as of today 8/4/2013, my fraud from this website is under investigation with a detective. The police officer that came out forward the proof of my purchases and how much each thing cost and how much I spent on each order for proof that I did pay for these items. I have not recived not 1 dvd or anything I have ordered. Like some people on here that have aready said they emailed them many times and never got a reply back on their orders, well its true. They reply once or twice, then they quit replying after that and they are rude nd they have a number you can call, but when you do it goes stright to a voicemail and they never called me back I even teted the number and never got a text back. I suggest if this happened to you, I dont care when it was or how far back you should call the police and make your report if you have the emails from them and if you have your emails with proof of what you purchased and how much each item was and all togeather. If it says payment cleared on the invoice then theres your proof it got paid for what you ordered. This is such a BIG RIP OFF. NOBODY and I MEAN NOBODY DON'T EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. I joined this website with a non reoccuring membership at $69.00 plus a $1.00 free membership trial. They billed me for that  includeing four charges of $18.97 and two more charges of $1.00 Which were unauthorized. So I emailed them to resolve these charges and got the run around from a third party billing company which was no help. Anyway I emailed them back just telling them to discontine billing and if they don't I'm going to persue fraud charges. I'll see how that goes and keep you updated. We live and we learn, no more internet porn sites for me.

They took my money, I got a confermation number back.  But my profile was never changed.i tride messaging the site Admins Rachel and Sally. I am furious at this scam and will fight with you. I plan to register my complaint with state and federal authorities soon after I write this. I received my $30 bill on 11/20/04 for the UK number (44 207 335 84). When it was disputed, I received a nice intimidating e-mail from George, as many of you did. In addition to the fight with PPC, I am bracing myself for the possible dispute with the telephone company. I joined this adult website thinking it was a legitimate website for hooking up with another consenting adult. The first (and only) 5 replies I received by E-mail from women all turned out to be from scammers who after one or two E-mails were already asking for me to help them out from a bad financial situation. Interestingly enough, all 5 claimed to be currently living in Nigeria at the present time. Is this a new form of the Nigerian scam? When I contacted the website, they agreed to put a note on these members account and if it happened again, to cancel their membership?? What gives, I report a scammer who I have proof of by E-mail and you wouldn't automatically kick them off the site? I was charged $65 for a 30 second peek at an adult entertainment site. I was stupid enough to use my credit card to verify I was over 18. It stated this is for verification will not be charged. What a sucker I was. Next VISA statement all these separate charges appear from companies outside the US. When calling the 800 number to verify what service I allegedly bought, they informed me I had subscribed to High Society at a rate of $2.00 a day. What a scam. Most men would be too embarassed to complain and thats how they zap your money. If this happens to you, call your credit cards fraud unit! They will dispute the charges on your behalf. Some would say I deserve this. Nobody should be ripped off. I learned my lesson. (Worst punishment of all, I had to tell my wife.)

I notified Adult FriendFinder, inc. about the fact that a man was a Gold Member of thier website and he had charges against him for Spousal Sexual Sodomy. Not only that he was using a Credit Card that he was not the Primary Cardholder on to pay for the charges of the membership. I know that because this man sent me messages with his full name attached and I obtained the information on the charges. Adult FriendFinder did not take the necessary action to keep other women safe and allowed this man, using a handle on there website to try to lure other women to him. Possibly allowing other women to be put in harms way as his wife was on April 10, 2005 when she was raped by him. Also this man was Physically and Mentally abusive to his wife and they still would not remove him after the wife sent them letters and asked them to provide protection for other women and remove him from the site and he was also saying he was divorced and actually married at the time. appears through Adult FriendFinders own personnel many married men are using the site to have fun in there marriage and outside there marriage without the unsuspecting spouse knowing about it. I would like to see websites like these shut down on the internet. Protection is not there for the women or even the men for that matter, because this particular man wanted to seek both men and women and couples, 2 women and man and women, TV, TG....etc.. This person was dropped to a Standard Member after the wife closed the Credit Card Account he was using to pay for the charges. Concerned for safety of others with site like this that does not take things seriously and check into the matters reported to them. Adult FrindFinder told me that they could kick them off, but the men or women that get kicked off just keep coming back under another handle. I feel by not using real names, this is a major concern and needs to be thought of as a Protection issue that needs to be dealt with by the Proper Authourities because this is happening on the internet. I just received my Phone Bill and there was 2 charges from this Tellis log distance company. The 2 charges were to Sweden. Now I am from Waco Texas. I would not know anybody in Sweden, nor would even know how to call Sweden. I have never even called overseas before. My husband automatically got the blame for these charges, because he does go to sites, that has porn pop ups. He states that when they pop up he closes them out. I even have gotten these pop ups and dialer pop ups at certain sites, and close them out as soon as they pop up. So for them to charge me for not using this service is a bunch of bull. I have talked to my phone company SBC and they will remove the charges but I do not want this to happen again. I hope this company knows how many people they are pissing off. I am very upset at this. I have two accounts with this company, a free one and one I payed $24.95 for. Ive had the free one for about 5 months and never upgraded it. I recieve emails daily from supposed women who want to contact me on this account. I started a new account and kept it free for about 3 weeks and had just as many emails coming in from supposed women. The day I upgraded my account these emails ceased. Still to this day I get emails on my free account, it seems that they are just automated to get you to sign up. Webcapades fraud & fraudulant collection agencies Unknown Florida
November 2003... $18.95 was charged to my credit card from webcapades. I did not catch it. December 2003 another $18.95 from webcapades was charged to my credit card, I still did not catch it. January 2004 another $18.95 was charged to my credit card. This time I saw the charge and called the number spoke to a Lisa. I told her this was not my charge and that I did not know how it appeared on my credit card. At this point I did not know what this service even was. I asked her to remove the charge and she got very defensive, very rude, and evasive. I got no satisfaction and it was clear that they were not going to remove the charges voluntarily. I then contacted my credit card and filed a claim for freudulent charges. I filled out the affidavits and proof that this was not my charge. I was subsequently given a credit for all 3 of the $18.95 charges. I thought the matter was settled. April 2004 I got a letter from a collection agency on a lawyers letterhead claiming I owed web capades $345.00 and that I had 30 days to respond or show proof that this was not my charges. I contacted my attorney for legal council. He wrote them and copied my credit card company a letter demanding they show proof that these were indeed my charges and gave them 30 days to respond just as the threatening collection letter had given me. Also enclosed was copies of all of the papers, affifdavits and corespondance that was sent between my credit card and me. This letter also specifically stated that no responce in 30 days signified that they accepted the proof and that these were not charges made by me. 11 days later they signed for the certified letter, so I know it was received by them. This was also filed in US District Court as a matter of being a legal document in the event it was ever to be needed in the future. The 30 days passed and the collection agency did not respond. Again I though the matter was then setteled once and for all. June 2005 ( 13 months later) I get another letter from another collection agency....My attorney is repeating the process of the previous letter noting that this had already been done with one collection agency. Although this has already cost me more than the $345.00 in attorney fees, I am considering filing a lawsuit against Webcapades to recoup my legal fees.
