Dvdplanet Org Fraudulent Web Site Canada Internet
I placed an order thru the website in early December for the complete series of JAG. I was advised by e-mail that delivery was expected prior to christmas 2007. It never arrived. My credit card was debited with $188 US dollars. I chased delivery in the new year and was sent a reply stating that there was a delay and promised all sorts of discounts off further purchases!!. I opted for a refund and e-mailed them twice since then with no reply. I have been unable to find where the company is located or a telephone number for them. I do not intend to let this matter rest and if necesarry bwill get the Police involved, as this is obviously FRAUD in a major way. Michael Manchester, ConnecticutUnited Kingdom According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days. If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges. Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent! DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get. And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state. Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the chargetruth. If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the

This company is a sales pitch, they do not actually have any legal background. My story is the same as everyone else's. They download forms and fill them in. There is NO lawyer working on ANYTHING. It's a scam and the AG isn't doing anything. Contact Tom Martino (consumer radio advocate) and give them some free publicity. MBContact - AVG (.org) Software AVG Software copycat Internet
I had a similar experience when attempting to buy AVG software and license. I downloaded what I thought was a 3-year license for about $58 charged to my credit card. The charge was approved by, I received confirmation email and link to continue the transaction and download the software. I clicked on the link and found username and password to continue to the Member's Area where I was able to download the software. I downloaded the software and it automatically started a complete scan of my computer (which I stopped after about 3 minutes). The program was called Security Solutions in my list of Program Files and system tray. Alarm bells went off in my head. I have AVG on another computer, and this just wasn't feeling right (and the price for a 3 year license was too good to be true). After snooping around more on the Security Solutions site, I noted there was absolutely no contact information, the link to the support tab did not function, and the site was virtually barren. I emailed MBContact (no response yet - and I'm not expecting one) to NOT charge my credit card. I will also contact my VISA provider and dispute the charge. I also deleted the software as fast as I could!! If a loss of $58 is the worst thing that happens, I'll be happy. I am more concerned about the fact that MBContact has my credit card information and Security Solutions got at least a partial scan of my computer. I have since downloaded the real AVG software. Watch out for sites that have similar email addresses. In this case the copycat address is I know that I'll be MUCH more careful in the future. Lynn Ramona, CaliforniaU.S.A.

07:33 AM Created a fake consumer advocacy group to loby for their website Internet
If you go to you will notice they have the following quote: Best of all, this program had the endorsement of a major consumer protection group, which keeps in close touch with the nation's business bureaus. You can read their report by clicking here The link to clicking here takes you to A quick glance at the site and it is an obvious fake. Notice on the endorsements page all of the programs recommended are major nationwide, well known programs with the exception of their internet website? Notice how there is really not much in the way of content? My favorite part is the file a complaint form. As of the writing of this rip off report 2/14/07 the page with the form for file a complaint wasn't even a real web form. Sure there were form fields, but the HTML tags necessary to make the form work weren't even there. Furthermore the submit button simply linked to the thankyou page, they didn't even bother to make the form perform a simple post operation to make it seem like it even had a chance at working. I'm so sick of sites like this. I don't know what their selling but I would bet anything that this is a complete scam. Best case they are a legitimate company using very unethical marketing practices, but what is the likelyhood of that? About zero. STAY AWAY!! Nicholas Cranberry TWP, PennsylvaniaU.S.A.

NATIONWIDE CONSULTING . ORG Grants, Grantwriters, and the Big Scam Riverside California
I sent the $299.00 to have Nationwide Consulting.Org write a Grant for me in June 29th 2007, it is now Sept. the 13th 2007. No, I have not received a Grant nor my money back, not a big surprise. To further add insult to my financial injury, they have not returned my phone calls either, again not a big surprise. I am essentially here to warn you, do NOT invest your hard earned money anywhere on the internet that claims anything to do with Grant Writing or securing you a Government Grant of any kind. I am only grateful that I was not taken for a much higher amount of money, but still this has hurt my budget. I can only think of all the others in my same situation, that these ruthless phony internet companies have hurt as well. I hope that there are Attorneys out there reading this, and who see the perfect opportunity to use the law to help people from this kind of injustice. I am just a person who is trying to get my finances together like probably most in this country. I fell on hard times, had a car accident and am barely making ends meet. I didn't need this, but this is what the internet paranoias like Nationwide Consulting.Org looks for. They look for the needy, broke, lost, and afflicted. And if you show any signs of that weakness they strike. It's sad what this country has turned into, where Business Ethics no longer exist. For years I have done but one service, that of Prayers. Prayer Partners Unite (which is my heart's love) has Prayed period. We have encouraged others in their dreams. And now that the Founder is down (that would be me) I tried to lift my finances by what I thought was a legal, worthy way. A simple Grant to consolidate my bills, that's all I wanted. So I could get a fresh start, a car, and get on with my tiny little ministry. Well it didn't work out people, so I am asking you, please don't trust companies on the internet at all. Do not trust them, unless you know them in person (like your own Bank, Pay~Pal, Better Business Bureo, AAA, and other reliable companies such as these). Oh, and by the way, the pen is still mightier than the sward and Prayer still works. I have two Blogs one on My Space and one at the top growing Yuwie. Where else do you think this article is going. Data Processors .Org data does not pay you for work, ignores communications Internet
I joined Data fifty three days ago. I paid my 24.99 0r 24.95 to become a Gold Member. By becoming a Gold member I would be payed $10.00 per assingment. I was receiving daily assignments like clockwork until June 6th when I stopped receiving the assignments. Of course, I emailed them and let them know what was happening. I had emailed them previously and received answers to my questions. Not this time. I have been emailing them since June 6th and have not heard back. I have started sending them multiple emails daily but it doesn't seem to be getting their attention. Hopefully, if I keep bombarding them with emails they will get sick of me and send a response. I thought I had finally found a legit business but I'm not sure now. Money is tight and this new income would greatly improve our home life. You know like putting food on the table for my kids. Data Processors owes me $570.00 so can someone help me get my money? I would also like my membership fee back as well. Does anybody have a phone number for this company? I ordered a pair of shoes for 60 Dollars and used paypal to do it with a credit card. They sent me a legit looking detailed receipt and even charged 12.66 For shipping which made the total 72.66. I waited a couple weeks as the website had 5 Day shipping then began calling customer service. There was no customer service. Just an answering machine. I know this because I left at least 5 Messages. Then I emailed their customer service. No reply. Then I went back to my paypal account and emailed the person I sent the payment to, a Bhamika Patel. He said he was sent my money from someone named Omar for SEO services whatever that is. A month and a half of emails went on between me and Bhamika until he finally refunded me in full saying that he received the third party payment. I was lucky to get a refund and never would have had I not saved all my emails. The whole site is a scam!

Perfect Prime dot org Free Gift isn't free California
An email under the guise of Amazon came to my inbox, offering a FREE gift of eye cream.  I would pay for shipping. I ordered my FREE gift of eye cream...and it  didn't go through - so I tried again.  Later I noticed I had magically order two different products and was charged for shipping on two different products.  I let that slide, as there was no real way to cancel. The eye cream was deliveried.  Nothing magically about it...but I didn't expect it would.A couple of weeks later I find two charges to my bank account.  One for 89.95 and the other was for 87.94.  I called my bank - we did a conference call with Perfect Prime.  First I was offered 25% discount - then 50% discount - then a 75%.  I was told about some bogus Terms and Conditions that I signed off on. There was no box - I didn't sign up for a subcription.  Very deceptive way of doing business.  I was able to get back 75% of the bogus charges.  Lesson learned the hard way:  Nothing is for FREE.  I do wonder if knows these guys are using their name?

Your Opinion Pays. Org ripoff paid survey company totally scammed Dishonest, fraudulent Newburgh, New York
I am a member of I paid the $34.95 fee almost a year ago. I registered to all of the companies I could. Some companies wouldnt let you register unless you owned a business. Others required you to live in the Chicago area. Still others that provided current panels were grossly outdated, however, while they were still current I registered to all of them and never heard anything back from them. The only surveys I have been offered are ones that give you an entry into a sweepstakes - this is not what I signed up for. They advertised that I would make $50, $75 or $150 an hour taking surveys. Many of the companies listed wrote back to me stating that they have no affiliation with and had no idea what I was talking about. I am very disgusted with this entire thing. I tried calling and to no avail. They give this prerecorded message that states that all HR representatives are extremely busy and for me to call back at a later time no matter what time of the day I call. I emailed all the departments within the company and they keep bouncing me back to another department who provides a stockpiled answer and doesnt address my emails. There is no support system that I can contact - I think I have to file for relief in a court of law. I logged on to your website and found that another person wrote in with pretty much the same exact experience. I want my money back! How can I get the membership fee refunded. They did not deliver what they promised. Lee christaldi Voorhees, New JerseyU.S.A.

On 4 separate occasions Embarq has allowed a 3rd party to bill for services that have not been requested. These bogus charges are from a company that goes by ESBI tm. They state the charges are aplied on behalf of SBO says they have the request from the person listed on the charge...BUT there is usually no such person. We have called Embarq to advise of the bogus charges and they say there is nothing they can do.We have asked for a 3rd party block and they say we can't add a block until the credits are issued by ESBI. Better Benefits Organization, Better Benefits Org., Inc, - WEBHOSTING MTHLY OAN - WEB HOSTING; DIRECTORY SERVICE Phone Bill Slamming New York New York
Be cautious of anyone calling to verify your information for a free business lisitng, even if you go through the conversation and tell them you don't want to buy anything or are not interested. This exact thing happend to me where I receive a phone call from a person claiming they were with the phone company and wanted to verify our free business listing. I told them I was a not interested, I was not authorizing any service and was not purchasing a thing. I then verified that I was the person who could make the decision and that was my mistake. On my phone bill I had a charge from OAN billing on behalf of Better Benefits Org. - Webhosting Mthly for $29.95. We do not need webhosting we have our own website... I then entered a search for the company name and found the website of and went to it. Guess what, they are a directory listing service... SCAM... I input my company info in the search fields and we are not even listed in there. When I called OAN, I spoke to Dianna, I gave her the information from the phone bill and was initially told that she did not have an account. I explained to her that we were receiving the $29.95 charge for a service that we did not authorize, and as I understand it this is CRAMMING and is illegal. She suddenly was able to find my account and amazingly had a recording where I authroized the free 30 day trial service. The recording was obviously doctored there was an East Indian lady (based on accent) asking questions then it would cut over to my voice saying yes or my name and the background noise was different between her speaking and my answers plus every yes answer was EXACTLY the same, I do not speak like that. I have the service cancelled and got a confirmation number but they will not refund for the service, even though we were not listed in this web hosting directory service. I think we were web hosed.... Barking mad Dallas, TexasU.S.A.
