Easy Appliance Parts Fraudelent seller, claims returns are used, won't refund money Truro Nova Scotia
We ordered a part for our dryer and when the part came in, my husband realized it wasn't the one he needed so we returned it.  Never installed and waited for a refund on it.  Today I got an email from them that it had been installed or attempted to install it which was NOT true.  So therefore they would not refund any of the fee we paid them.  I personally think this is the way this company operates by refusing to refund using their excuse it was used.  So we are out over $100 for the part and the return shipping.  I have filed a dispute with paypal but doubt if I will get the refund...it's their word against ours. Before you think about buying from this company, they are located in Nova Scotia Canada but have shipping companies all over the US, just remember that you will not get your money back. They are thieves....not a reputable company to do busy with.

Appliance Pros Parts Horrible return policies Louisville Kentucky
Ordered a Drip Pan from their web site, I clicked on the Cart to purchase, with the picture of a Black Frigidaire Drip Pan. I was shipped a crome drip pan.  The situation with them that is tricky, and I though I was covered when I printed the order. But when trying to return the wrong part, I noticed the receipt lacks a description.  Also the item number from the manufacturer is different than the item number in their inventory.  Without the proper information from a receipt generated from this company they are never at fault, therefore you will pay shipping charges for the delivery and the return.  The sytem they have developed makes it impossible for you to back track what you intended to order. The cost of their product was also 3 times more than just finding a Lowes and buying what you need.  I now realize as we as consumers continue to use the internet for shopping we will run into so may problems, this is my 3rd purchase on the internet this year, and this is my 3rd ripoff already.  I quit! No more internet shopping...the scammmers are lokking for every way possible to pick your pockets.

Sears Appliance Parts Sears Parts BEWARE ORDERS NON-CANCELLABLE Mobile, Alabama
Beware! Once you place an order with Sears for appliance parts you cannot cancel it!! They take your money and regardless of the reason you cannot cancel the order even seconds after you place it! For any reason, apparently even if your child or an unauthorized person placed the order, or you did it in error, or you chose the wrong part. This is crazy. No one should buy from them! I found my part a lot cheaper elsewhere and now I can't stop the higher-priced order from Sears. Maybe I am to blame for not checking more sources first, but I trusted them that they would be competitively priced. My bad. Very stupid customer relations on their part, though, as I will never buy another part from them ever!!

Marcone Appliance Parts Ordered Refridgerator Part, Sent Wrong One, No Refund Ripoff Internet
Back on June 7, 2007 I ordered a control board Refridgerator. It is an odd model. Rather than tell me that they could not match it (I couldn't on their site), they went ahead and sent the closest part, a great way to churn easy cash on the off chance that it will fit. I called and they refunded the warranty that day. I was sent a box with an REA and returned the item and invoice. They recieved it according to UPS on 6/22/2007. They have never refunded my money (95.00) and repeated calls to them have been fruitless. The first lady literally yelled into the phone Sir I can't do anything without an invoice number, The REA is meaningless. This was not after discussion, this was immediately after I explained the situation and told her that i had included the invoice in the box. Another call, I asked the fellow if he could trace by REA and he said yes. I heard him talking after he laid the phone down and he did nothing the stated we have not recieved it yet. They had recieved it one month earlier. MARCONE.COM A HUGE RIPOFF. R sunrise, FloridaU.S.A.

Abbott Appliance Parts Unqualified / Incompetent Technician Toms River New Jersey
On Friday August 4th we first noticed a Problem with our 9-year old GE Profile Side By Side Refrigerator. My wife called Abbot Service and described the situation as the Ice Maker not making Ice Cubes and that the temperatures in the Freezer and Refrigerator were erratically rising above Normal. That evening, the Abbot Service person made a visual inspection of the unit. No tools or meters were used for a diagnosis. We were advised that a repair, including a Control Board would cost $400. We decided against that and paid the $89.00 Service Call. Being a trained and experienced electronics person, I ordered a New Control Board with a 2-day delivery. By the next morning, Saturday Aug 5th the Freezer and Refrig Temperatures had come down to near normal. Throughout Saturday, however, the Temps began to slowly rise again. By Sunday Morning Aug 6th they were back down to near normal. I received and installed the New Control Board by approx 2 p.m. Sunday. But throughout the balance of Sunday and into Monday morning - the unstable Up and Down temperatures continued. I removed the New Control Board on Monday morning, and put the Original Control Board back in - since the New Board did not fix the problem. On Monday Aug 7 my wife called GE Service. On Tuesday, Aug 8 the GE Service Tech came and I told him about the Abbot Service call and diagnosis of needing a new Control Board. I also told the GE Service Tech that I purchased and installed a new Control Board on Sunday but removed it on Monday morning because it did not fix the problem. The GE Service Tech had electronic diagnostic equipment that connected to the back of the Refrigerator and based upon my explanation of the constant up and down Temp Changes he diagnosed the issue as being Sealed-System blockage issues. He also said that the Control Unit would not have fixed the problem. I asked about the Temp Sensor parts or Defroster Heater and he said they would not fix the problem, either.

National Appliance Network National Appliance Network under new name? Internet
I have reasons to think the former owner of National Appliance Network may be operating under a new identity and business name. A company calling itself Best Servicers of America has been advertising all over Florida for service contractors for HVAC, Appliances and Flat Panel TV's.      I became suspicious when the link to sign up with Best Servicers of America asked for my social security number. I did some research first and could find no background info on the company or a business license. By luck I was able to connect the owner's name to National Appliance Network. And while the two owners names are different an internet search found the same identical home address in Boca Raton, Florida for both.    Thankfully I was able to do enough research to not get involved in what may turn out to be another scam. I hope this information helps those of you who were ripped off.

Speedy Appliance Parts LLC Do not do business with Speedy Appliance Parts. Corydon Indiana
I recommend you do not do business with Speedy Appliance Parts; I would give them a zero if possible on a scale of one to ten. I am a patient person, but this company, Speedy Appliance Parts, is one the worst companies out there in all my years of doing business. I ordered the part that their website told me to order for the refrigerator model I have, and it was the wrong one. Their answer was too bad; we have a boilerplate for our poor service. The thing is, I now have to pay for their mistake, to get a refund, and I have order the part again. I have to pay for the shipping, the return shipping, and the restocking fee, and then shipping for the new part. If you didn't already get the message this company is a horrible company. You can check with other site about the horriable service, BBB, TrustPilot, and CustomerLobby. Speedy Appliance Parts may of won this battle, but in the long run they will lose the war, because of you extremely poor service.

KayJay Appliance Repair Sabina Mishkina Thief - said he replaced parts but didn't have old parts Internet
They lie and steal beware of these guys.  First guy answers the phone and says he they have a technician for tomorrow available and will call you when he is in the area.  Next day he calls and another guy shows up, Jay he said.  Than he needs to replace a part (water pump) and conveniently has the part and replaces it but he doesn't have the old part.   The maytag washing works but it still makes lots of noise, which it wasn't doing before. Then a week later there is water all over the place, he comes out again and this time it is a busted hose and he replaces it but there is NO old part again. This time it doesn't work - he says give it time.  Now it won't spin at all. When he was repairing it he broke the panel. A-Johnny's Appliance ripoff highly overcharged for parts and service Fontana California
After 3 minutes of physically working on our clothes dryer, my mother received a bill for $145 before being given an estimate. The repairman said he just had to replace the sensor, showing her what I found out later was actually a fuse. He charged her $75 for the fuse and $64 for labor. Not knowing any better, she went ahead and paid the bill. After looking up some prices online, I found the fuse to cost between $9 and $13. To change the fuse he only had to remove the used one and replace it with a new one. We contacted the company who just forward us to the repairman. He said they could charge whatever they wanted for parts and services. He may have been right, but ethically, he should have discussed the price before performing any repair without approval. I don't expect the money back, I just wanted to write this as a heads-up for this particular company. Claudia La Habra Heights, CaliforniaU.S.A.

Action Appliance Inc. NO Status Update for available parts; CONFUSED office representative Aurora Colorado
I saw a Action Appliance Inc. work truck parked in front of my house.  They appeared to be servicing something for my neighbor.  I left a note on the truck's window, requesting help for my washing machine.  The technician, Tyler, very kindly visited me and diagnosed my washing macine's problem.  He charged me UP FRONT $210.11 because he said his credit card charging machine was broke (so he would have to input all the information by hand).  Tyler promised next day repair.  The next day came and went.  Late in the afternoon, I saw his work truck again.  Tyler stopped by to tell me that the parts needed were not at their warehouse so it would be Monday or Tuesday (at the latest) to get the parts and effect fix-its.  I called today, Monday, and Teresa could not even find a tracking number.  Even though my credit card has already been charged the $210.11 -- they certainly are fast at taking their money -- and the warehouse is in Denver, Teresa said it could might be Thursday, but she DID'NT KNOW because she couldn't find a tracking number.   I want my washing machine fixed!!   I do NOT recommend this company because it seems as though their office people do not know what they are doing.

Appliance Zone Or Appliance Parts Specialists Refused to respond to repeated request for refund due to incorrect part return Corydon Indiana
This company, represented by Ms Paula Allen, refuses to accept part returns even though their website spells out a return policy. I purchased an incorrect part for $193 and immediately emailed them about my mistake. In the meantime, I ordered the correct part from their website as required in their return policy. I have emailed them 24 times and written them by US mail twice. I have tried to call them but am not able to locate a phone number. I disputed the problem with my credit card company to whom they did respond. They denied ever hearing from me and presented a phony return policy which they claimed prevented me from returning the part. I provided the real return policy copied from their website and tried several more times to contact them to no avail. They are not a reputable company and systematically deny part return requests by never responding and by presenting phony retrun policies. Beware! Lfd White Bear Lake, MinnesotaU.S.A.

Action Appliance Bill's Appliance Repair Inc (former) Inflated Billing, Undocumented Charges, Charged for services not performed, Charged for special parts not used. Aurora, Colorado
Needed a quick repair for a water heater. Thought the company was local, but found out later (too late) it was out of state (Colorado). The service tech arrived hours later than the scheduled appointment. Did not diagnose the problem and give an estimate but proceded to replace parts. When questioned what the problem was the tech said he didn't know. When finished I was given a reciept for the services performed with just a total, no break down of parts or hourly rate. In fact there was a charge for diagnostic service which was never performed, and a special order part which was not even used. I stood there the whole time and watched him service my water heater and I never saw him diagnose the system and inquired what he was installing when he replaced the thermocouple. He told us he was installing a commercial grade part because he didn't have the standard part. We found out later it was a standard part I could have gotten at Lowe's for $8.00. When we called the office and questioned why the service tech had to use a special order part, they told us he used a standard replacement part. We then asked if we could get a break down of the bill and the manager told us they do not give break downs for billings. In hindsight we started searching out reviews of this company, and found out we were not the only ones taken by this company. It now seems they have crossed the state lines and are scamming people across the country. Some Govt. agency should investigate this company and shut them down!

Appliance Hypermarket , Formerly Explorer Appliances Ripoff Failure to Provide Appliance Parts and Warranty Service San Diego California
Don't be fooled by the shiny pictures. Appliances are machines that are only as good as the availability of parts, warranty service, and technical expertise. Appliance Hypermarket is unable to provide any of the above. The ranges are made in Italy, and neither the manufacturers nor Appliance Hypermarket make service calls. Appliance Hypermarket doesn't even have technical manuals showing exploded parts diagrams from which to order parts for the products that they sell. After threatening lawsuits for several months, they finally did send parts. Unfortunately, the parts that they sent were for a different make and model of range and were totally useless. Appliance Hypermarket told me that they would reimburse all costs for warranty repairs provided by local appliance repair shops. To date, I'm still waiting. Appliance Hypermarket does not understand the US building codes as applied to the products that they sell. I received a range that was supposed to have been wired for a 120 Volt 20 AMP circuit. Instead I received a range wired for 240 Volts with a cord that was dangerously undersized for a standard 240 Volt Range Circuit. My electrician refused to hook up the range and ran a separate 240 Volt 20 Amp circuit so as not to exceed the capacity of the range cord. My plumber had to remove the rubber hose that came with the range, and install a code required metal flex hose for the gas connection. Consumers who have bought these products and are unknowledgeable in building code requirements have unwittingly installed ticking time-bombs in their homes. Your neighborhood appliance dealer is a much safer place to shop, and he will provide you with parts, warranty service, technical expertise, and peace of mind. Your family's life may depend on how your range is hooked up. The best part is that once Appliance Hypermarket gets your money, they could care less about your silly warranty problems. In short, your screwed. Frederick Carson city, NevadaU.S.A.

Citywide Appliance City Wide Appliance Took payment for parts and labor without completing job, lied, refused full or partial refund Ellenville New York
I rarely write online reviews (though I read them all the time!), but the incredibly horrible service we received from City Wide Appliance has prompted me to post.On April 25th, Darius from City Wide came out to our house to repair an LG Washer/Dryer combo unit that was not drying properly. He identified the problem as being the PCB User Display and said he would return the next week with the part and do the repair. This is a weekend house and turns out we wouldn’t be on site when he returned. He indicated that we needed to pay in full prior to the repair so we wrote a check for the full amount of $261.78, gave him our lockbox code and thanked him for his time.5/2/14 – City Wide calls us to say they went to our house but, upon arrival, discovered “the manufacturer sent us the wrong part.” Strange that they wouldn’t check that they had the correct part before driving all the way out to our house. They say they have ordered the correct part and it should arrive shortly.Between 5/2 and 5/12 we call City Wide multiple times to follow-up and check on the status of our repair. We speak to Carolyn who continues to inform us the part is “on its way.” In the meantime we are paying our cleaning service (who helps us manage the rental property) $13/load of laundry that they are doing off site. On 5/12 Carolyn says that the part is backordered and the “manufacturer is not releasing the part to the vendor.” She says the part will arrive in 12-15 days and assures us she will keep us updated by phone.5/15 – We give birth to our daughter.5/26 – I call City Wide again b/c we have heard nothing. I indicate that it has been ONE FULL MONTH since our first date of service. Carolyn says there is “nothing” she can do b/c the “manufacturer is not releasing the part to the vendor.” She then says it will arrive in 12-14 days.  I remind her that she said that on 5/12. She says she has no way of keeping track of which customers are waiting for backordered parts. Really? Perhaps writing it down on a piece of paper would be a good start? Or even – crazy idea here – creating a spreadsheet? We make calls to City Wide throughout the month of June to attempt to get service. Carolyn keeps telling us the part is backordered and impossible to obtain.  I eventually decide to take matters into my own hands. On 6/16 I call Carolyn asking her to tell me the exact part number for the part they are waiting on. She says she does not have that information but that a technician will call me later that day with the number. I do not receive a call.On 6/17 I call again asking Carolyn for the part number. She says a technician will call me. I do not receive a call.On 6/18 I call again (this is getting repetitive, right?) and Carolyn is surprised – “What? You haven’t heard from the technician?” No, Carolyn. I have not.  She says there is good news….wait for it….our part will arrive in – you guessed it – 12-14 days!  I tell her I just want the part number and she says….. “I didn’t know you need the part number. I have it right here.” Oh my God.She gives me the part number. I call LG and they inform me there is no problem obtaining that part. It is widely available online. I use this amazing invention called GOOGLE to find said part on PartSelect.com I order it for an additional $91 + shipping and it arrives via FedEx overnight. This part that was somehow unobtainable by professionals who do this for a living! Somehow I managed to find, order, and obtain it within 24 hours. My husband calls Carolyn to request a refund of our money and to cancel all service with them. Carolyn explains that the payment is NON-REFUNDABLE and they are just “waiting on the part.” He explains that we HAVE the part they are supposedly waiting on. No refund can be issued b/c we signed a service agreement saying payment is non-refundable. Seems like one of us did not keep up their end of the service agreement.  Alas.On 6/23 I call Carolyn to say, against our better judgment, we would like them to come out and install the part since they are refusing to refund our money. She says, “What is the part number of the part you ordered?” I say it is the same number she GAVE ME. She says she needs me to read her the part number. I say that I will call her back in a few minutes once I am done caring for my newborn (who is now 5 weeks old). I call back in 5 minutes and leave a message with the part number. She calls me back and we set up service for 6/27.We are not at the property when the technician comes but Carolyn calls to inform me WE DO NOT HAVE THE CORRECT PART. Mind you, it is the part Carolyn TOLD ME to order. It is the part she verified on 6/23.  I ask to speak to the manager. Carolyn is the office manager. The service manager is out of the office. There is no one to talk to who can actually help me.Okaaaaay.We decide we are DONE with City Wide Appliance. Why did it take us so long? Silly us.Here’s the best part….today (6/30) a technician from A & E Factory Service came out to fix our machine. He explained that the draining mechanism was simply full of lint. He disassembled the machine, washed it out with a hose in our front yard, and now the machine works PERFECTLY.  No new parts needed. I just did a load of laundry and it is perfectly dry. Happy six week birthday to our daughter!

Ginno's Kitchen And Appliance Replaced worn parts in my washing machine with used and inferior parts. Chico California
My washing machine was under warranty from Whirlpool. It started making a noise and I called the Whirlpool warranty company and they sent a rep. from Ginno's Kitchen and Appliance. The gentleman who arrived stated my machine needed a new transmission and coupler. He left to order and obtain the new transmission and called me back in approx. two-three days to say he had the new transmission and was ready to install transmission and coupler. He changed my transmission and coupler, gathered up his stuff, put my old transmission in his van and basically cleaned up. He also assured me the machine had been checked and was ready to go. After he had gone I put in an average load of clothes and started the machine as I've done for several years. Prior to putting in the first load I noticed the tub inside the machine was 6-8 in. deep with water, which I found to be odd that he would only test the machine up to that point and not complete the cycle. Never the less I spun the water out and started the fresh load. It was at that time during the agitation cycle that I noticed loud knocking, clicking, and banging coming out of the inside of the machine. I called back to Ginno's immediately and talked to the dispatcher. She asked me what was that terrible noise in the back ground that she could hardly hear me. I said to her that noise is the reason I'm calling you the operation was a failure something is definetly gone wrong here, I was standing no less than twenty feet from the machine at the time. When the smell of burning rubber started I stopped the machine completely and demanded the service man come back and fix the problem. Come back he did, a week later and made every moronic, insulting, ridiculous, and unbelievable excuses that what I was hearing was completely normal for a new transmission, that it would take a few days just to get used to it and he left. I called Ginno's Kitchen and Appliance back the very next day and demanded that this machine get the new transmission that I was entitled to, that my warranty company had purchased for me, that should have been brand new. Instead Ginno's contacted my warranty company and told them I needed a second new transmission and coupler. It was at that time my warranty company contacted me to tell me that they were going to cancel me and adhere to a point in their contract which allows them to cancel my ongoing warranty service in lieu of 25% off a new Whirlpool machine. Not a bad deal if I were not on a fixed income with a disability and was not struggling to make ends meet. Not a bad deal if my machine was so destroyed that it would be cheaper for me to buy a new one but my machine simply had an arrant noise coming out of it, now it sounds like any wash I do is the final one. Thanks to Ginno's and their greedy, selfish, thieving ways I will never be able to purchase a new washer in the short time period the warranty company gave me in order to be able to utilize the 25% discount. Thanks to Ginno's I lost a valid warranty on what's been basically a good machine, the warranty was not expired until September 2009 at which time I would have had an opportunity to renew but now I cannot and soon will have no machine at all. Thank you. John Oroville, CaliforniaU.S.A.

AAAA TV Vacuum Electronic Appliance AAAA TEVA stole my $100 to do a free estimate Centennial, Colorado
I called the store to see how much it would cost to fix my 32 dynex tv, which needed a new screen.  They said that I needed to bring it to the store for an accurate estimate, understandably, and I decided to do this seeing on their website that they give free estimates and consultations.   Showing them the tv upon arrival, I asked for an estimate.  They said that their service guys weren't available and that I should leave the tv there and that he would call me.  He asked for a $100 deposit that would go towards the fix.  Expressing my discomfort with this, I told him that I needed an estimate before leaving  the tv, he said it would be about $125 but couldn't say exactly.   I told him that I felt uncomfortable with this, and against my better knowing I left it with them, and my boyfriend was going to call with his credit card to give the deposit.   After the deposit was paid, they called later in the day to quote a $350 fix, which I declined seeing that a new tv of the same model costs $229.  I told him I would pick it up and requested my $100 back.  He said that he would not give it back as it was a fee.  I reminded him that his website said free estimates and asked him what he did to keep the tv.  He admitted to only calling for a price, which is an estimate.  An argument ensued, in which he hung up.  I called back and he hung up again. I called back three more times and they did not answer. My boyfriend called back and asked about the situation and they declined speaking with him because he was not the customer.  He reminded them that he was the one who paid, but they hung up again. This business is a scam.  I think that they knew what they were doing from the beginning, and from the 35 reports on the Better Business Bureau website within the last few years, I believe they treat everybody this way.
