Glamour Trends Misleading fraudulent advertising Internet
Went to do a survey where they represented themselves as Amazon, they are not! Said at the end of the survey that I only had to pay shipping. Total of the transaction was $12.94. I was charged $98.49 and $98.89. Quite the difference in price. When I called I was told that I should have read the fine print. I did and it said nothing about any other price or it being a 14 day trial like the representative said was in the fine print. Very upset! Carrie Athelstane, Wisconsin

Glamour Trends I did a online survey for Amazon. Picked a watch and handbag. Paid for shipping of 4.99 and 5.99. Santa Barbara California
I originally answered a Amazon Survey and chose a purse . I paid for shipping. However, they also charged me shipping for a watch that I did not order. So, $4.99 and$5.99 was charged on my credit card. . There was nothing that mentioned a 14 day trial. I received a purse and watch in the mail today. I called the customer service number listed on the invoice. Spoke to someone, I told her that I wanted to return both the purse and watch. She told me that I could not return them unless I wanted to exchange them for different ones. I told the woman that I did not want anything else from them. To cancel the account. I was told I would get a refund or half of the charge and received a confirmation from them.. I want this fraud to stop.

06:29 PM Glamour trends Modern scam artist Florida
I was on a trusted online gaming website when I suddenly was told I was randomly selected to answer questions about the site I was playing on. This pop up also promised prizes I could choose from after I finished the survey. At the end of the survey I had a choice from quite a few products that were promised as free all I have to do is pay shipping and handling on each product. Under normal circumstances I would never believe this offer but since it was telling me it was associated with the trusted gaming site I was playing on, and also the questions on the survey were all about the gaming site I played on I gave it a try. I chose a necklace and a watch for my girlfriend and was promised all I had to pay was shipping and handling which came to around $13 and it would arrive in the next 4-5 days. The package arrived a week later and inside was a black box with the necklace in it looking like they just threw it inside and a white box with the wAtch under some odd fake cotton. Nothing else came in the package so I gave it to my girlfriend. Around a week later I wake up at 9am and check my checking account online as I always do and see a charge of $99 on my account from this company. I go online to the website to get the customer service number and I call them. A woman picks up giving no name just the name of their company and asks why I am calling. I say I am calling because I have a charge of $99 from you guys and I want to know why. She then tells me that by agreeing to pay the shipping and handling I was also agreeing to their terms of a 14 day free trial of their merchandise and on the 15th day of that trial they will charge me $99 a month. I plead my case saying there was no mention of any trial that I was on and no mentioning of cancelling said trial and she told me there was nothing I could do as those were their terms and I agreed to them. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she responded yea you can but it's going to be same result which I then told her to put me through to one anyway. She said OK and put me on hold. After a minute or 2 of silence I then heard music start playing and after 20 minutes I decided to hang up and go to my bank to try and block this pending charge. Before I got to bank I decided to check my bank account again and now another charge has gotten posted on my account for another $99. I go to my bank and put in a dispute for these charges and had to change my debit card number and everything. I go home and look up and there are negative things everywhere about them on the internet. These monsters are modern scam artists and need to be stopped and they also go by the name glamor trends which was the name they used on the package they shipped to me

I was under the impression that I had 2 weeks to inspect the merchandise before I was billed for any membership. She stated that the 2 week timeframe began on the date of the order, not when I received it.  I tried several times to tell her that I never got the watch. She said her records indicate that the package was delivered on 12/20/2017.  I am requesting a refund of the $99.98. She offered me another piece of jewelry, but no refund. I declined on the grounds of not wanting to continue this conversation and asked for a supervisor.Account# 885201Cancellation # C910098Supervisor, Shawn, was very kind and definitely used his customer service skills to help me. He could not explain the policy regarding charging for a membership with the company when the customer has not had the chance to evaluate the merchandise or the policy. I explained that I have not received the watch. He went over my account and stated that it shows the merchandise was not left at the house and was probably at my local post office. I never received a slip telling me to come get the package. I just assumed that with the Holidays might have delayed deliverey. I just made a purchase that came from China and it took 24 days to get to California, so I was not alarmed that the watch took time to arrive. The supervisor has agreed to refund the $99.98 once I get the watch and return it to them. I will use tracking system and follow up with him accordingly.I have reviewed many of the reports and complaints with this company. If this report helps just one customer not to get involved with these people, then it will be mysaving Grace. Buyers Beware of  offers that want to giive you something for free. Glamour Shots GLAMOUR SHOTS SCAM!!!!!!!! Orlando, Florida
In the month of April I went to Glamour Shots in Florida Mall to take some communion pictures of myself. I had a flyer from Glamour Shoots stating that they had a special for $ 155 which at the time I felt that I would like to schedule a session with them so I called and they asked for a 20 dollar deposit which I gave they told me that I must bring 3 outfits and I explained to them that I only want to take pictures with my communion dress but they said that I needed to bring them so I did, once I arrived at 1pm they did my makeup and took pictures of me and told me to change to outfits and that I need to hurry up as other customers are coming so I did as I was told when the shoot is over they take me to their office and show me the picture, I was not very please with many of them but was interested in the ones that showed my holy communion dress, the Manager by the name of Yoanka told me that she can sell me a package for $ 3000 dollars and I told her I cannot afford that as I am disabled and do not work she said that why did a come to Glamour Shoots thinking that there the best of the best and that I how much did I think I was going to spend, at that point I showed her the flyer that I had in hand where it stated for $ 155 you can have a photosession she said that I read that wrong. I told her that I would like to purchase the CD with my images and she said that I couldnt unless I bought her $ 3000 package and that they have financing, I told her that the money will still have to be paid with or without financing and that I cannot afford it as I do not work it was at that point 6 hours into the store and wanted to leave but I had not transportation until my husband arrived to pick me up when he came in and saw what she was doing he said that we need to leave and she igonored him and he stepped out frustrated with the situation and she started typing all my personal information and asking me for my social, and birthdate and said she was going to do something special for me as she realizes that my husband is jealous and that memories are forever and I need to remember what I looked like when I was 53 but I told her that I cannot afford that price she said that I had 6 months to pay, but I told her I could not she said ok I know you only want the CD so I will have to sell you some picture and I can give you a discount and lower it down to 866, at that point I was hunger, tired, did not have my medication, was dizzy of all the running around and going back and forth pleading with her so to get out of there I said ok signed everything and left. I feel violated as a human being I did not know I was walking into an 8 hour death trap, They did not have a gun to my head but it sure felt like it.

Glamour Shots Rip-Off
My daughter arranged to celebrate her 14th birthday party with a few of her friends at Glamour Shots, a photography studio, in the Crabtree Valley Mall, Raleigh, NC. Glamour Shots provided hair styling, make-up, and costume changes for this occaision and the girls selected photos from the photography session, which were subsequently purchased from Glamour Shots. My wife attended this photo session with my daughter and her three friends. Unbelievably, there were no secure dressing room facilities provided at Glamour Shots for the girls. The dressing area consisted of a curtain hung in a remote corner of the studio where the girls were expected to undress, change costumes, and leave any personal items during the photo session. My wife became concerned about the lack of security for the girl's personal belongings, shopping purchases, handbags, etc. and removed these items to a waiting area near the studio receptionist's desk assuming that the personal items would be safer in view of the receptionist. At some point in the photo session my wife was called from the waiting area to the photography room by my daughter for an opinion on the costumes and poses for the photos. At the time my wife left the waiting area, only the receptionist and a friend of the receptionist were in the waiting area with the personal items belonging to my daughter and her friends. When the photo session was completed and the girls returned to the waiting area, one of my daughter's friends discovered that her wallet was missing from her handbag. The missing wallet contained some cash and gift certificates. The total value of the lost items including the replacement cost of the wallet was only about $50.00. The lost wallet was immediately reported to the receptionist and the photographer since they were the only employees on duty at Glamour Shots at this time. Although the photographer seemed shocked that the wallet could have been stolen, the receptionist's/employee's attitude was inappropriately glib and suggested her knowledge of and/or complicity in the theft. This incident was also reported the the Security Office at Crabtree Valley Mall. The owner of the lost wallet recounted her steps and purchases in the mall that evening to Security and is certain that the lost wallet was in her handbag upon entering the Glamour Shots studio. The lost wallet was never recovered. Subsequent to this incident there has been no related follow-up by either Glamour Shots or Crabtree Valley Mall security except that Glamour Shots has posted a sign disclaiming any responsibility for personal items lost while a customer is visiting their studio and purchasing their photography services. On or about March 1, 2000, I personally contacted the manager of Glamour Shots and requested reimbursement in the amount of $50.00 to the owner of the lost wallet to resolve this matter. The manager denied any responsibility on the part of Glamour Shots and refuses any reimbursement for the lost wallet.

Glamour Shots The worst service ever, Internet
I wanted to do something special for my daughter, celebrating her being a wonderful 13 year old, so I took her to Glamour Shots to receive princess for a day treatment. We arrived at 4:00 and did not leave until 8:00. I wasn't too concerned about the time, though. When it was finally time to look at the pictures, I was astonished by the price of the pictures. I had intended to spend around $100, but ended up spending $400. I was a little put-off, but I felt this was a very special occasion. The salesgirl told me we would receive the pictures in about two weeks, even though they tell everyone it will take 4-6 weeks for the pictures to come in. Well, we took the pictures on September 26. I called the store 6 weeks later to see if the pictures came in. The salesgirl said if she didn't call me, then that meant the pictures were not in. She said they only receive the pictures on Mondays, so to call back the next week. The following Monday I called back, and received the same answer. I was angry and said that I was not content with playing the waiting game. I asked wa I just supposed to sit around week to week and receive the same response. She promised the pictures would be in soon. I called back at the beginning of November. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and requested a refund. The manager, Cheryl, apologized for the inconvenience and said she was going to contact the lab immediately. She even offered to have 3 additional poses put on a cd, and stated she would FedEx everything to me immediately. Two more weeks passed, and I still had not received anything from Glamour Shots. I called the store again, and asked to speak to Cheryl. A new manager came on the phone and said Cheryl no longer worked there, and that he would try to rectify the situation. I demanded a refund. He said he would look into it, and would call me back. About twenty minutes later he called back and asked if I wanted the pictures or a refund. I said I really wanted the pictures. He said he called the lab and that they would FedEx the pictures to me within 24 hours. At first I was happy with the service he provided. The district manager even called to apologize. Well, that was on the Monday before Thanksgiving. I received the package on Friday. Brent, the manager, had told me he had ensured everything was included. Well, I opened the package and half of my pictures were missing! I was supposed to receive 2 poses, which included an 8x10, 2 5x7s, and 8 wallets for each pose. I only received the 5x7s! This is just frustrating me to no end. I cried when I realized I was missing half the order. I spent a lot of money and time to receive the service I am due. I'm a law school student, and I am seriously thinking about suing the company for all of the trouble they've put me through. I just want to warn''s not worth all the hassle. (((competitor's name redacted))) has wonderful service and prices. I will never return to Glamour Shots. sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company,, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome. Glamour Shots ripoff dishonest sales practices Lewisville Texas
On January 2, 2005 I purchased a Glamour Shots portrait club card. I was approached in the walkway at the Vista Ridge Mall in Dallas Texas by an associate of Glamour Shots and told what a wonderful deal this card is. The card is to include Portrait Club Benefits as follows: FREE SITTINGS ALL YEAR 1 FREE 8X10 THE DAY YOU JOIN 1 FREE 10X13 ON YOUR SECOND VISIT 1 FREE 8X10 ON YOUR THIRD VISIT 1 FREE 10X13 ON YOUR FOURTH VISIT $20 GIFT CERTIFICATE 10% OFF ALL REORDERS The above is reprinted directly from the card. The sales associate also told me that for each of my family member's birthday I would receive a Happy Birthday postcard good for FREE session and 8x10 portrait which I did get for the 2 birthdays that have happened already this year. The second of the birthdays in our family is my 15 year old daughter who will turn 16 in May. I thought that this would be a good time to use the card since we live 2 hours away and only travel to Dallas for special occasions. My daughter wanted to take 5 of her friends and have a picture created. I called the Studio to make the appointment and it was immediately obvious that I had been taken by a huge scam. First off I was told that this card only covers families. No where on the card OR in the sales pitch was I told that. In fact, I specifically asked if it would work for my daughter and her friends and I was assured it would. Next, I was told that this was going to cost $80 per person in the picture, as it would have to be booked as a birthday party! I told the associate that I didn't want a birthday party I just wanted some pictures of my daughter with her friends. Next she said she could do it for $30 per person for sitting fees. Remember, I have a useless card that says I get free sitting fees for a year! Finally, the associate says that the best she can do is offer me a family sitting fee of $50 plus 10 each for the number of people over 4 (what Glamour Shots defines as a family). This would mean that I will now have to pay a sitting fee of $70. Finally, knowing that this is what my daughter wanted I relented and made the appointment to have the picture done. When I told my daughter about the appointment she reminded me that they had another commitment the night before and I may want to make the appointment a little later in the day. I called Glamour Shots again to change the appointment time and was put on hold. I was told the associate needed to talk to me. Instead, a person got on the phone and identified herself as a manager and said that she knew I had this club card but that didn't matter and the only way I could have this picture done was to pay $80 per person in the picture! I have e-mailed the company and not yet received a response. All I can say is watch out! Even when you have it in black and white this company WILL NOT DELIVER!!!!! Janet Iowa Park, TexasU.S.A.

Glamour Shots ripoff Shady policies and hidden pricing Wauwatosa Wisconsin
My sister recently had her photos taken at a (now closed) Galmour Shots studio in Illinois, for a birthday party with her friends. The pcitures looked good, and so I decided to give an anniversary gift of a session to my girlfriend. When we got there, they were friendly and courteous; we filled out information (mailing address, etc) and also signed a form showing that we were there for the appointment. This also signified that we knew that we would be paying for our package and session in full before we left. (This was made clear to us on the phone after I set up the session as well.) That was fine. There were no problems with the session itself. However, when it came time to pick our package, things turned sour quickly. With no information other than Packages start at $39.95, I went in there with about $100 or so to spend. I wasn't expecting 10 sheets or 3 of each size or anything, but did expect at least a LITTLE something for my money. In total, $125 ended up garnering 1 8x10 sheet and 1 5x7 sheet, plus the bartering of the (normally $100) proof sheet. This sheet is required if you want to make ANY other photos beyond your original purchase The 'package' for $39.95 is a single sheet, without touchup, colorization, or proofs. Had I known how much this was gonna cost, I would've gone elsewhere. The 'makeover' could've easily been done at home, and while a normal protrait studio probably owuld not have put the same level of concern into the shots, it was FAR from worth the price we ended up paying. I live in L.A., and I read the LA Times, from time to time. I used to subscribe to Glamour before I moved, and never bothered to subscribe again, until I got an offer to get the L.A. times on the weekend, and a full year of Glamour for $20.00. I paid for it in May, and the check went through, and I have a copy of it. I didn't get the my first magazine until the middle of August, and I never recieved a newspaper. When I emailed them, it took them three days to email me back with a customer service number, and when I called, the rep seemed to be so annoyed that I had the nerve to complain about not getting a newspaper, since $20 is still a good deal for the 12 issue subscription! She said she would contact Times to make sure that I would get the magazine. This was a month ago. I tried to be patient, so I wasn't a pest, but since May, i have recieved 1 magazine, and still no newspaper, and customer is not responding to my emails since I lost the number. It's only $20, but it was my $20. It's a good deal, but if it goes sour, you WILL NOT GET ANY HELP getting your money back, or even getting the d*** magazine you paid for! My account was charged the following day, but I had NOT received a confirmation e-mail OR an e-mail stating my bellycast was shipped. I e-mailed the company after about a week and questioned where my order was..had it infact been shipped.... and no response. I checked the website again, and they had removed the phone number. I did find the number on my bank statement, but when I tried to call i got a busy signal a phone was off the hook. Apr. 17 I emailed AGAIN, and again, got no response from the company. and NOW-the website no longer exists!! when i do a search, it says ERROR website cannot be found. I've ordered from online companies before with NO PROBLEMS..but have NEVER been so disgusted in my life. I'm not sure if this has happened before when the company was located in New Hampshire...I think this one was in Arizona-- but BE WARNED!! If you see ANYTHING for glamourbelly belly casts... DO NOT ORDER!! they will RIP YOU OFF, steal your money, and never be heard from again! Meredith Northfield, VermontU.S.A.
