Tom Tom Failed to download purchased map Boston, Massachusetts
I ordered and paid for a US map from Tom Tom. They never downloaded the map. When I called they directed me to a site in the UK, this process took two hours They (UK) never answered my request nor downloaded my map. I got an email saying they would consider my case closed if I don't respond in 72 hours but the link they sent was a dead end. They know that if they stall and put you through hoops that you will eventually figure out that it's not worth the effort to recover that small sum of money, in my case $34. I suggest buying a Gxxxx, (((REDACTED)))the little more you pay is well worth it if you ever need support or a refund. sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome! You need to have one extra hour, to have 30000 reps on the phone, and then, when you send the item, of course you have to pay shipping, they are so full of crap that will lose your shipment if you did not send it by a traceable method as i did. Buyer Beware: NikeGPS Sports Watch is junk. When wristband breaks, TOM TOM provides NO support. http://bit.ly/1qLXk5a. This is totally unacceptable for such an expensive watch. Any watch rubber wristband breaks with normal wear and  tear and  any reputable watch maker will repair it for a fee.    https://www.facebook.com/Nike-Sportwatch-GPS-problems-229596010396998/   I have contacted Nike support about this and also the TOM TOM site. Both point out that TOM TOM does not support replacement of the rubber wrist band, even if I pay them a service charge. This is ridiculous for an expensive watch. I have two of them and both have broken rubber wrist bands, which is going to happen with any watch over time and use. Both watches are not old. I hope that other consumers who have experienced the same problem report it. See the link above for a similar very unhappy consumer. I have been a loyal fan of Nike products for years but this incident leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

Recently I was looking to have some 12 custom made karaoke tracks made for a birthday party and came across a seller, Tom Davidson, who suposedly makes karaoke tracks for twenty five dollars on the site Fiverr. His ad stated that he made the tracks exactly like the original and that he would recreate the track based on whatever instruments that was used in the original track meaning that if the original track used five instruments he would recreate five, if the track had ten, he would recreate ten instruments.His ad also stated that he guarantees satisfaction.The Fiverr also states that all their vendors respect copyrighted material.So based on these assurances and my previous experience with other sellers on Fiverr, I proceeded to work with this guy and ordered one easy track to see how he did it.The order was supposed to be ready in 4 days but 4 days came and no sign of the karaoke track.When I wrote to him to see where my track was, this guy who is from the jungles of Africa responded with the most vile and vulgar language berating me as to how I dare to criticize him because he has a life and studies and a pregnant wife and he cancelled my order after having waited for a week.Since at this point I had alraedy waited a week for this track and the birthday was coming up I tried to make amends and even apoligized for my unacceptable behavior and my audacity to ask why my order was late and only then he provided the track.The track was not that great but then again since it was only $25 and it was for a party and I did not have time to look around, I made the stupid mistake of ordering the other tracks.You would think that he would be happy to have that many orders, but he wrote back to me (the day before the order was suposed to be ready) complaining that it was too much work for littele money. He was threatening that I should either pay him more money or that he would cancel the order.When I objected to cancellation as I had already ran out of time, he stated that either I should pay him more or else he would only make a track with only two basic instruments and not all the instruments and as a sample he made two of the tracks which were a joke. While the tracks I had requested were orchestral compositions with a full orchestra, this guy's poor reproduction had only a keyboard and a drum.Furthermore when I asked if he was licensed to create these tracks he told me to go F@#* myself and cancelled the rest of the tracks.I left a negative review on the site and complained to Fiverr.Now Fiverr's terms of agrrement states that if any seller engages in such conduct and produces work without licensing, they would remove that gig.As it turned out, instead of removing this guy's gig which is obviously against fedral law for reproducing copyrighte work without a license, Fiverr removed my review and when I warned Fiverr that i would report them to authorities, they completely blocked my account.Rattled by this, I created another account to go after this crook and ordered different material such as ready made tracks that were ready to be purchased right away under different user names and left him bad reviews and Fiver did the same with all of them and removed my comments and blocked the other accounts too all the while allowing this pirate to produce more pirated work.I then proceeded to make complaints with FBI against this crook and Fiverr.While Fiverr allows piracy on its site, it now appears that FBI has taken over this crook's site.please visit http://tomdavidsonproduction.com/ to see the extent of this guy's and fiverr's corruption.Please also check ripoffreport's search engine to find out more about other complainst against Fiverr and this crook. This is a highway robbery! They Did not deliver on the promised results. I signed up with Tom ferry coaching when i first got my real estate license. Young and lost of course i was looking to learn and get off on the right foot. I had a call with Tom ferries team with no intentions of buying into the program because i didn’t have the funds to keep up with it. However they were very persuasive and started pressuring me on the phone to pull the triggger now. The guy on the phone went as far as to guarantee me results in the first 30 days and told me the coaching would pay for itself after that. As I learned, guarantees are pretty much worthless with this company because they make it basically impossible to qualify. I had 2 half hour coaching calls which was incredibly pointless. They provided me with ZERO value!! They told me to go on Zillow and call people. That was their $500 advice. I was so frustrated with the lack of value that i tried to discontinue it after the first month and $500 down the drain. I spoke with the ‘coach’ and Tom ferries team and could not get them to cancel. Not only did I lose $500, but that set me back mentally so far that I almost quit the real estate business all together. So now 2 years later, they are HARRASSING ME weekly THREATENING to report me if I don’t pay them $5,000+ !!! $5000+ for 2 Coaching calls that provided absolutely ZERO VALUE!! I recommend you use your money on Facebook and other ads. You'll get far better results than you can ever get through any type of paid coaching. Especially one that TRAPS YOU. They are all hype with little else for your money. Before you sign up for the iron clad 12 month contract, read the reviews -I sure wish I had.

Tom Tom Last update destroyed the touchscreen keyboard's functionality, and the device is now useless! Amsterdam
I purchased a TomTom device several years ago for use in my personal automobile.  As recommended, I updated it regularly, both for software updates and for new map information.  The device functioned well until the last “update” -- after which it has been rendered virtually useless and worthless.  The last “update” which I downloaded from TomTom Home 2 completely wrecked the touch-screen keyboard function, making it impossible to enter an address or a location.  Since the device lacks speech-recognition capability, this has rendered the TomTom utterly useless.  As a result, the value and utility of this item has been destroyed by their “update.” What’s worse, a diligent search of their website indicates that there is no fix or repair for this “update” – and when contacted, their support staff indicated that my TomTom was “no longer supported.”  It appears, then, that the “update” has had the effect of eliminating any remaining usefulness or value of this device, without any way to recover either.

Tom Thumb offers a six cent a gallon discount on its brand of gasoline when customers purchase over a certain amount of groceries. I have received a six cent discount receipt several times only to use it and find out I only got a three cent per gallon discount. Granted, this does not amount to a significant chunk of change for an individual, it could add up to a pretty large amount on a collective customer basis. I am appalled that Tom Thumb engages in such deceptive practices, particularly since there is a relativly strong degree of consumer sensitivity about gasoline prices these days. I brought a 2002 toyota camry se v6 12-04-01 two week later the engine light burn out. I took it back to where i purchases it the said they would replace it, serveral times went down to where i purchases it said it was replaced. on 02-11-02 the car dealer was to replace the engine light sensor they had the car all for eight hour state they replace it. I drove the car home on 2-11-02 the light came on again I call the dealer they told me to bring the car back. I took the car back to the service department on 2-15-02 the stated they had to order a new part, stated by 2-19-02 the part would be in now note this is a new car only a few month old, I feel they are not taking care of the problem they just trying to get rid of me please help, I did notify toyota customer service about the first& second problem

HE TORE THE KITCHEN OUT SO I COULD NOT USE IT, AND FOOLED AROUND FOR MONTHS. HE HAD A NEW GIRLFRIEND WHO WAS TAKING A LOT OF HIS TIME. WE KEPT PAYING HIM MORE OF THE PROMISED MONEY BECAUSE WE HAD SAID WE WOULD DO SO. HE WAS TELLING US HE COULD NOT GET THE WORK DONE BECAUSE OF BAD WEATHER. MEANWHILE, I WAS HAVING TO EAT MOST OF OUR MEALS OUT, AND INCURRING LOTS OF EXPENSE. THE FINAL RESULT WAS... HE BROUGHT SOME OF THE CABINETS HE HAD MADE OVER AND PUT THEM IN MY KITCHEN. I HAD TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO INSTALL THEM FOR ME. HE MADE A CABINET FOR ONE OF THE THREE BATHROOMS, AND TOLD US IT WOULD BE IN HIS DRIVEWAY.. THAT WE COULD COME OVER AND PICK IT UP. HE SAID HE WAS DONE WITH US, THAT HE HAD TO TAKE OTHER JOBS TO MAKE SOME MONEY AS HIS RENT WAS DUE. WE WERE JUST OUT OF LUCK AS WE HAD PAID HIM ALL OF THE MONEY AGREED UPON IN THE CONTRACT. WE RENTED A TRAILER AND PICKED UP THE ONE BATHROOM CABINET. THE WORK WAS SHODDY, AND NOT THE AGREED UPON, PULL OUT CABINETS. WE HAD TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO INSTALL THIS ONE ALSO. STILL THERE ARE TWO BATHROOMS WHICH HE DID NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO MAKE THE CABINETS FOR, AND WE GAVE HIM THE EXPENSIVE MATERIALS TO BUILD THEM. ALL IN ALL, HE GOT OFF WITH ABOUT $4,000 OF OUR MONEY. HE TOLD US TO GO AHEAD AND TAKE HIM TO COURT.. THAT HE DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING, AND THERE WAS NOTHING WE COULD DO ABOUT IT. WE TALKED TO AN ATTORNEY WHO BASICALLY TOLD US THE SAME THING.

Tom Mitchell Scams, rip off, buisness Phoenix Arizona
Tom Mitchell was looking for a web designer to make his website go live. I told him I would make it go live for $200. He paid me $100 upfront and the rest was to come after the job was completed. After I spoke with him, he decided he wanted me to design his whole website, because he did not like what he had so far and it was incomplete. I agreed to redo and redesign his website for him at only $15 an hr, since I am a student of game design and don't specialize in web design. Tom kept good contact with me through out the whole redesigning process of his website and spoke to me multiple times a day. He also responded to my emails regarding his website and would send input as the work on his website progressed. Once the website was completed I uploaded all the files and his site was finally live. At this time Tom is owing me $400 for the completed job. I have tried to contact Tom Mitchell multiple times via email and phone. He will not respond or contact me in anyway. Tom uses Go Daddy and had not changed his login information, since the website I built him. I went ahead and deleted the files, due to his lack of payment. Come the next day, I received an email from him stating he will contact me later on. Tom got his server host Go Daddy to retrieve his files for him and now his website is up and running. I have not heard from Tom Mitchell anymore. Tom is a scammer and fraud. I would not recommend that people order anything from his website, since he is not a legit individual. Who knows what scam he will pull off next. If you live in Arizona and run into this guy, do not do jobs for him;he will rob you. As it is my life is hectic and hard, since I have a disabled child with Down's Syndrome and this man has taken food out of my child's mouth. I spent a lot of time working on his site and looked forward to payment. I am currently speaking to the courts and plan to file a lawsuit. I may have to request and order from the court to get his phone company to release his address, since the address to his site is a postnet and not valid for court summoning. People just beware. Tom Woodard Craigslist click and buy scam Internet
As has been previously reported, another scam by someone impersonating a US military service person who listed a vehicle way below market value and then proceeded to attempt to set up a shipping scam deal to have the vehicle 'delivered'.  Claimed to be a member of the Ebay Good Sellers Club.  Total scam job.  The old adage about something being too good to be true proves correct.

Tom Thumb Fabulous Customer Srvice Irving, Texas
I visit this store often as it is close to my work.  I have never gone into this store without all the staff working there to say hello, how are you and is there anything they can do to help me. They all seem very sincere and have smiles on their faces.  Tom Thumb must be an awesome place to work.  I cetainly enjoy shopping there. I signed up to get my racket restrung, I received the envelope and sent my racket back to them, it has been 3 weeks and i am yet to recieve my racket. They supply a telephone number and email address to which both get no response. It seems with a company search they are registered to an Luton, but on the website they claim to be in Reading. I believe this is a scam.

I am posting this to call attention to the shady and deceptive marketing practices of a company called Taap it. they claim to have an iphone app. I posted a for sale listing on craigslist and Tom Nguyen of TaapIt contacted me to repost my listing. The terms on my craigslist ad state clearly it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests. If Tom Nguyen can blatantly ignore this polite request to not be solicited or spammed, I can respond to this time wasting spam by naming and shaming his company's shady marketing practices.

I rented a house in Rowayton CT from Tom St Denis.It was a summer rental.Despite the fact that I left the house impeccable, he is trying to keep the over 17k of the security deposit on what I contend are false claims.From what I heard from people in Rowayton, Tom St Denis has cash flow problems. I suspect that he does not have the funds to repay me so he invented false offsets. Be careful. Desperate people resorte to desperate measures.
