Person sent, by Reliable Service Co., to repair had no knowledge of stoves, especially, Okeefe & Merritt.
Repairman would not give me estimate, was elusive.
Finally, I had to ask him to leave.

He refuse to leave, saying that he could fix it.
He demanded payment, even though he did not do any oven repair or even give me an estimate. Spend most of his time on the phone.

Then he said he could fix our refrigerator, which was working but was not getting overly cold. In checking it, He manage to break the compressor.

He is at the moment in a panic, does not speak English, so we are in a bind.

I keep calling the office. The receptionist was rude, and keeps telling me, for the Last four hours that Mr. Grub will be in soon. And says she can't do anything until he arrives.

I hope not to be charge for this waste of my time, and lost wage, having to take time off work to be here.
Finally, the repair man said he fixed the problems and gave me a fee. Remember, he never gave ne en estimate. Fee was much larger then reported over the phone. Did not give me the 15% discount promised in the Internet ad.
He did not give me the 15% mention in the ad, even though I showed him the ad.

Mr. Grub finally called me, but did not see anything wrong, not even the fact that he assure me over the phone, the day before, that he's company could do the work for less. I was not given my 15% off. He felt I had nothing to complain about because the work was done, since "the repairman finish the job."

I feel I was over charge, especially, since I was not given an estimate before the work was done. I could have call someone else, who was to do the work for less.
I feel Mr. Grub misrepresented himself, and used false advertising.

After the work was done, Edward told me that it was $250.00. I mention to him the 15% discount if I mention "Service magic." He said he did not know anything about it. I showed him a copy of the webpage. He said OK. Then he gave me an invoice for $235.00, that's a $15.00 discount, not 15%. But he was not done, he then presented me with another invoice for $65.00, saying that this was his labor and he could not give any discount. So now, the $250.00 quote by Edward became $300.00.

Even though language seemed to have been a problem, I strongly feel that I was rip off.

Ruslan Grub assured me he was going to save me some money because Reliable Service Co. is a national business. Because of his words I cancel the other service person I have previously contacted.
I should have seen a "hustling" in progress.
I feel that Ruslan Grub has misled me. This reflects on "Service Magic's" ability to screen service suppliers.
