We are a small boutique who picked up the Rendezvous Candle line at Americas Mart in Atlanta in 2014.  We placed a couple of orders and did receive one shipment of merchandise.  We were charged for that order and also an ADDITIONAL $475 worth of merchandise we never received.

 

We have tried MULTIPLE times to contact them via phone and email with no response.  We did however get a hold of Ethan on 4/6/15, who stated that they did refund our credit card and would email the receipt to us...never happened.  We had a suspicion that they were screening calls, so we did call back with a cellphone and low and behold, Ethan answered.  When he found out who it was, he hung up...TWICE!

 

We are beyond FRUSTRATED and wanted to make other store owners/buyers aware of the situation, so they will think twice about buying their products.

How is it you have time to respond to this report, but DO NOT have time to give us a call and rectify the situation?! Please to not embarrass yourself/company any further by making false accusations regarding this matter...IT DID HAPPEN!

If you did however handle the situation, please enlighten us...we would love to know the outcome, because we have yet to see the $475.20 credit.

We are beyond patiently waiting for your response.

This customer placed 2 orders with us at a trade show. Our company has two lines, a kitchen line and a candle line. The customer placed orders for both lines and signed both the po's which makes the order a sales agreement (which we do not usually allow cancels after we process the order because everything we make is custom with the company's logo.) We processed the orders to ship right away and she called and canceled the candle order but wanted to keep the towel order. We allowed her to do so. She says we charged her for both which we did, but we refunded her the same day she cancelled the candle order. I sent her the credit memo that day as well. About 6 months later.. She called her credit card company and disputed both charges for both orders. We had to send tracking info and the invoice for the Kitchen order, and send proof of the refund for the candle order. We won the dispute so I thought that would be the end of it. Since we won the dispute, this lady has called every couple months and our team explains this to her each time. I dont know how else to deal with her or her slander as we have done nothing wrong.
