RestroPro RestroPro Inc. Brandon Domack Lied about sending information to our insurance company and then defaulted on promised compensation for our roof and would not return calls Oklahoma City Oklahoma

RestroPro placed a roof on our house on 8/21/13. Prior to this we had contracted RestroPro on 7/29/13. For 3 weeks we were told my Ron (Senior Estimator) and Kelli (Project Manager) they had been in communication with State Farm Insurance on many occasions attempting to get a 2nd estimate for our roof due to the tornados in our area and the damage to our roof.  We were given $950.00 by our insurance company when they came out and did their evaluation for internal damage to our house (leaks and ceiling damage due to the water from the roof after the shingles had been raised by the high winds).  We were working with RestroPro to replace our roof and was advised by James and Kelli to let them deal with our insurance company from then on or we would likley not recieve much compensation due to us not knowing how to deal with them and they do all the time and are the experts in this area.  We were told for weeks they had not only emailed documents requested by our insurance comapny but had been on the phone with them many times over a second estimate on our roof; which we were told by James our insurance comapny had declined.  Due to the heavy rains and being told by James and Kelli that State Farm declined our 2nd estimate we allowed them to place a roof on our house beliving our insurance company had denied us. We paid $7,650.00 out our pocket (roof total $8,600.00 -- we also had the $950.00 check for our internal damages).

 Ron (Supervisor) came to our house to collect our payment on the roof and I requested to see the emails Ron and Kelli told us they sent to our insurance company over the required documents State Farm requested and they assured they sent.  We had a difficult time getting Ron to leave due to he appeared under the influence and was talking very loudly, repeating himself, and would not remember parts of our converstaton; he also would slur words here and there, get way too close to you and had alcohol odor to him.  This was a very uncomfortable position for me and my spouse who attempted to get him to leave our yard once he was outside. Ron did not remember this conversation the next day when I called him; since I did not feel he would remember it I also called him the next day to ask for the documents -- AGAIN. James was unable to produced the emails he assured he sent to State Farm and even told me he was paying a man to retireve them out his computer "trash" for me to view which he could not produce. He then told me RestroPro did not keep files on customers who pay cash and all the documents are deleted and not filed properly with the company. James agreed to speak on a confrence call with our State Farm Agent (Paul) and during the conversation was caught in several lies and finally apologized and admitted to me and Paul he never sent the required documentaton to State Farm and they never denied coming out for a 2nd option due to never having the required things from RestroPro.

My husband and I then spoke with Brandon Domack, "owner" on 9/16/13, who realized his compnay had not only lied to us on numberous occassions but they also had not produced the documents that the insuance company requested. After speaking with our insuranc company he agreed to settle for the error on his company's part. We requested full reimbursement for our roof and he asked to us please go down to $4,000.00.  We agreed to the $4,000.00 to settle this quickly and move on.  He also requested we not publish any bad remarks over thier company since he was willing to work with us. He needed one week to obtain the funds.  He also emailed me on 9/16/13 and said "I feel horrible about this. I'm going to mail out (fedex/ups/usps) the check this week with a personal letter from myself. If there's anything else you would like to talke about. PLease call me directly on my cell. Sincerly, Brandon". We not only never recieved the check.. but we never got a letter form him either.  A week later he requested another week to obtain his funds. A week later he refusued to communicate with us any further and also would nto return any phone calls to us.  I also was told by him they are based out of Wisconsin and not Oklahoma, even though they have a small office they opened in Oklahoma. When we originally spoke with James and Kelli we told them we only wanted to deal with an Oklahoma company and not a fly by night company. We were presented with papers making it appear they are an Oklahoma Base company which they are not, they just have an office here. Brandon is in Wisconsin.  Brandon also thought it was amusing when we told him how uncomfortable it was having someone from his company show up to our house who was under the influence. However when we explained this was a liablilty to his company he then was quiet and apologetic.  Brandon also stated this was slander on behalf of the man who was at our house in a complaint I filed agianst RestroPro. But, I have been an ER nurse for over 10 years and when someone is around me who smells of alcohol, talks very loudly, at times slurs thier words, repeats themselves over and over, and does not know personal space boundaries when speaking with you... I think I am qualified to state they are under the influence.

This company is a RIP OFF and will do all they can to get your money and do not care about anything else. See the contractor comment on this company at RIP OFF also .... Enough said.
