I took out a loan on 11/05 with a company named United Cash Loans. The loan was for $150. The entire amount was to be paid back the next month or make $50 monthly payments until load was paid off. I chose to pay back $50 a month. The payment was to come out of my checking account.

In February I had paid off the loan, but United Cash Loans still kept taking money out of my checking account. The withdraws are in different amounts each month, i.e. $60, $15, $45, ect. The withdraws accrue on different dates each month too.

In addition, withdraws from a different company US Fast Cash are starting to show up. I've investigated these two companies and they lead to a company called Rio Resources. A Ms. Sabrina Collins and Christopher Riser show has owners of the company. I found MANY different address and phone numbers leading to this company. Since I did the loan application on the web, I don't have any paper trail to speak of. I do continual to get emails from US Fast Cash reminding me that I still owe them and the date they will be withdrawing funds from my checking account. I've already paid the loan back!

EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back!

HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO:

Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.

According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days.

If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.

Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!

DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!

Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.

And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.

Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.

If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.

CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.

And good luck Let us know how you do!

This is certainly pretty vague

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 12, 2006

From their Q & A:

"What does it cost?
Cash advance loans are designed for emergency situations when you are short of cash and need money fast! Family emergencies, unexpected car repairs, overdrafts, telephone reconnection and deposits are just some of the urgent cash needs our customers have experienced.

Your fees are less than the cost of not having the cash you need when you need it - overdraft fees, bounced check charges, taxes, even losing your job because you can't get to work! Actual fees are determined based on the information you provide when you submit your loan application.

Your cash can often be sent to your bank account the very next business day and you don't repay until your next paycheck!"

Who's determination is "the cost of not having the cash you need when you need it"? That's pretty subjective.

US Fast Cash Hell

AUTHOR: Jeff - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 12, 2006

I have also been having major issues with US Fast Cash.

In Febuary we were in need of funds, so I decided to do a PayDay loan with them. Every two weeks they were kind enough to take $120 out of our checking account. In the end of June, we were devastated from a major flood. I called them and asked them if they could work with me, of course they said no and took out more money making our bank account negitive.

So, I put a stop payment on the account at our bank and I informed them that I did.

Well, they decided to write up a withdrawl slip, somehow, and tried to take out the entire amount. My bank contacted me to let me know, and we put a stop to that. The money they tried to take was from Fema, our home was gone.

So, a man then called me and threatened me with collection and was kind enough to tell me that my situation did not matter and I had better learn how to pay my bills.

I have paid them roughly $1000.00 on a $400 loan, and I was not paying them anymore.
Now today, I got a phone call after 2 months of silence stating that I had 48 hours, or else it would go to a higher level.

I am not paying, I have given these people enough money.

The bottom line is, they don't care. We lost everything, and they just don't care to try and work with us.

If I legally wrong, someone please tell me.

Broadmore Ventures

AUTHOR: Heather - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 07, 2006

We took out a loan in May or June for 300.00 and were told that it would renew with every pay check until it was renewed 5 times then the amount would be taken until the loan was paid off. They have been taking 90.00 twice a month since then. I believe they also stated (i cant remember exactly as i can not track down the exact company information now) that after the 5th renewal the monies taken would go toward the balance of the loan. Here it is November and they are still taking 90.00 twice a month.

We live on a meake income and needed help in a bad way and now we do again but will not go this route, i am going to the bank tomorrow to close the account and open a new one. There are no numbers to call to find out what is going on, only a fax number to send the "extension" form which we've only sent once believing that the amount for the loan would have been taken if we did not send that. Our bank just states we gave them permission and now for a 300.00 loan we've paid out over a thousand dollars. This is crazy.

I was ripped off also

AUTHOR: Joan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, October 21, 2006

I borrowed 250 dollars from united cash loans on 7/10/06 to date I paid them 660 dollars through electronic withdraw from my account when i called them today to find out why there were still taking out money I was informed that I still had a balance of 130 dollars.

I was floored. I was told by the man on the phone ( which by the way the only way i could even find a way to contact this company was by this website I couldn't find the website to them directly) I was told I recieved "renewal" emails to renew my loan which I have never recieved. I have since stopped payment on ALL electronic withdraws from my account that do not come directly from my bill pay with the bank.

I have also stopped payment on any and all forms of cash withdraw from this company and anyother company they come under. I gave my bank the name of all the companies that I have seen in here just in case they try to use a different company name to get money. I have paid 410 dollars over the amount of money I borrowed from this company and they still have the gall to say I owe a balance. Well they will never get another cent of my money.

Confusing Loan Terms

AUTHOR: Terrence - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 22, 2006

Many of the complaints I see about this company, although not all of them, seem to be caused by misunderstanding the loan terms, which are at least somewhat confusing the way the company explains them. Here are the things you need to know about their loans:

FIRST, they DO NOT report to the credit bureaus, unless the loan goes "bad", so their loans do not help your credit rating. I found this out after taking a loan, and I got another, more "normal" loan online to pay these guys back right away.

SECOND, they automatically renew every month. Unlesss you send them specific authorization to take out more, they will only take the renewal fee from your account for several months. On a $300 loan, for example, I believe the renewal is $90. They will take this every month, with NO reduction of the principal.

THIRD, after some specific time, I think it's 4 months, they will start taking an extra amount, I believe $50, PLUS the monthly renewal fee, and apply that extra towards the principal.

FINALLY, keep copies of all forms, emails, etc. which you send and/or receive from them. The easiest way, especially with forms, is to use a screen print program and save it to disk. If you fully understand the rules (which are, actually, a pretty big ripoff, with a renewal fee of about 33% every month), and they are taking money that they should not be taking, go to your bank. Bring all the documents. Your bank CAN give you back money that was not taken legitimally, and can stop them from taking more. You WILL have to show that the deductions were not legitimate, so make sure that you are correct and that they are violating their own loan and repayment rules.

By the way, I have been able to get in touch with them at 800-256-9166, if that helps anyone.

POSTED: Thursday, June 08, 2006

Back in November I got a $200 payday loan with TenDollarPaydayLoan.com with the understanding that they would automatically withdraw $220 in December. Since then they have taken almost $500 out of my account. My bank is working with me to fix this problem but I am wondering if in the contract that I electronically signed was miss leading. Is there a way that I can get a copy of that contract even if they are not allowing me to log onto my account? If anyone has any ideas please let me know.+

As long as they have your bank info

AUTHOR: Aafes - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, June 03, 2006

As long as they have your bank information they will continue to rip you off. The best solution to this is to simply open a new account at a different bank.

NEVER give a company like this your bank account information. The bank will do nothing to protect you, absent investigating each claim of improper transactions and posting the money back. The investigation doesn't stop the company from trying again and again. Each successful attempt would have to be investigated separately.

Fight back

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, May 26, 2006

My mom is currently being ripped off by USFastcash. She borrowed $200 and to date has paid $530. They continue to threaten her at work and today they even told her they wouldn't mind paying her a visit at her home in order to collect the debt. Firstly, what debt?! They have been paid almost triple the amount owed. Secondly, they are threatening my elderly mother! I'm trying to help her out but she's embarrassed about the situation and won't tell me much. I have a feeling if I don't do anything she'll continue to pay and end up getting scammed out of hundreds or even thousands more!

After doing some research today I came across a possible way to at least cause a headache to the company, RIO Resources. Their websites use a service called "Domains by Proxy"(DBP). It allows anonymous domain registrations. Anyhow, DBP's terms of service states:

"Domains By Proxy will not do business with you,
nor protect your identity, if you:

Engage in morally objectionable activities, including but not limited to those which are child pornographic, defamatory, abusive, harassing, obscene, racist, or otherwise objectionable."

RIO Resources is certainly abusive, harassing and making false statements about ones self to coworkers and/or their Boss. Because of this, I suggest all of you who have been scammed to snail mail DBP at:

DOMAINS BY PROXY
Attn: Legal Complaints
15111 N. Hayden Road, Suite 160
PMB 353
Scottsdale, AZ 85260

If enough formal complaints are made we might be able to at least get their websites taken offline and/or personal information divulged. It might not help out our situations, but it will prevent a lot of potential victims from this scam.

Untied Cash Loans and Rio Resources Ripping Me Off.

POSTED: Tuesday, May 23, 2006

This is a response to Marc from Glendale Arizona. I am having problems with this company as well and would like to work wit you and help in this matter. I have been experiencing many of the same problems that everyone else has been reporting about this company and it is unfair and illegal as far as I am concerned. What this company is doing to people is taking advanyage of a situation and making it worse for all. I do not wish to leave my contact info on here, and hopefully Rip Off report will allow this to be posted if so, please leave another rebuttel or comment so that I know how to conatct you or take the next step. I am fed up and will not pay any more money to this company.

I was threatened today by Mike from "Pinion" and was told I also had until 12 noon tomarrow to pay up, this was the first and only call I ever recieved from this company. I explained to him that I would like to go home and review my records he said that was not an option and he would take a credit or debit card and that was it. He would not tell me what company he was from or any other information and just hung up on me and said I had until tomarrow to pay up. I called two more times to try and find out the company name and still was hung up on. Only after calling and talking with someone else was I able to find out the company name, but no search results on the net came up with anything, once I typed in United Cash Loans however, it all came togther. Please Help, and please allow me to help.

The same thing is happening to me right now. But not with us fast cash this time it is with a credit card company.

These people offer a credit card online for the usa shopping club and there is a fee of 129.95 they charge. Well they took it out of my account twice already and when i call them it goes to rio resources. Apparently they have many of companies they collect for and this credit card is one of them. I have put stop payments and everything i can do but they still keep getting the money.

My banks tells me there is nothing they can do for me which is bull, they are suppose to be helping me protect my account expecially when i tell them they do not have my authrization to take money and the bank allowed the transaction to happen anyways.

Also one other time i had 39.95 and a 29.95 come out of my account for a site called big and plump. I had no clue what this was well i went and looked and it was a porn site. I dont watch that junk and besides you have to have a credit card to get them, which i dont have. I called the number my bank provided me with and again it was rio resources.

They wanted my account number and everything otherwise they couldnt look up my account and i told them u should already have it if you are taking money. Well they looked it up and seen it canceled it when i never ordered it and them told me my money is not refundable.

this company is just not right.

I have done extensive research on all these companies. I consider myself a Consumer Advocate and have been successful in stopping unfair business practices. Both in Legal (courts) and finding out hard to find information on private companies.

It is NOT FSM Group who is behind all these companies. It is in fact a company called Rio Resources, LLC. The operate in Miami, OK. I am reluctant to divulge much information on the web, because I am building a legal case against Rio Resources. LLC

I need your help. I need people to come forward and tell me if they have been a victim of any of these companies. We are better off confronting this company as a group then as individuals. Please respond to this rebuttal if you where a victim.

I'm not sure if the editors will allow this rebuttal on their web site, but thought I'd give it a shot.
