EDITOR’S COMMENT(7/31/18):  Ripoff Report strongly believes in the First Amendment, especially when consumers are truthfully warning other consumers about potential frauds, scams, rip-offs or the like by shady individuals or businesses.  Ripoff Report is by consumers, for consumers…and we want to keep it that way!  Unfortunately this Report was posted and, upon additional information, appears to have been primarily for the purpose of bullying or harassment.  In many instances Ripoff Report will reach out to the author of the Report to obtain further information.  In other instances, enough information is provided to Ripoff Report to warrant redactions without reaching out to the author.  Ripoff Report is working to combat tactics that are perceived to be cyberharassment, cyberstalking, cyberbullying and/or what is generally considered a “revenge post” as we do not condone such behavior.

BEWARE- of (((REDACTED)))- he is creepy!. Him and his company contacted my family through online advertising and we recieved a postcard in the mail. I dont know how he got our contact info. We were and still are going through some financial hardships with my elderly father extrememly sick and having to care for my 3 nieces. We were exploring our options of what to do with my fathers home, as he is not capable of maintaining it anymore. We entertained what (((REDACTED))) and his company offered.. but i was skeptical. He promised he will keep making mortgage payments on our home and get the number we need to relocate and still be able to take care of my father's medical bills.

Smooth talker with a sense of urgency. He very convincing. But as i seen these type of folks prey on the elderly and disabled espcially in places with a lot of retirees like Florida. Thank goodness I had been staying with my Papa and was able to be a part of the discussions with (((REDACTED))) company- as i am his power of attorney and even trying to get him to sign over something is just morally corrupt in his condition. Something about (((REDACTED))) made my skin crawl. I felt a very deceveing con job was going on. Everything their compnay offered is just too good to be true. They dont Fulfill on it. Takes control of your house by transferring the deed up front and then always has another story. When i started to ask the difficult questions i always felt i was getting worked over like never answered directly.

When couldn't get answers and my hairs on my neck started to tell me this guy was bad news i looked him up online.. sure evnough he is a convicted felon. He's relocted and made quite the name for hismelf here in Tampa. Atricle after article of his crimes. He's got a rap sheet a mile long. I was sick to my stomach reading about what he had done to people in NY and all those misfortunate people he took advantage of. Makes me sick to think my Papa could have been another victim. We must take a stand against those who dont have the resources or means to stand up for themselves. Those with disablities and unable to peg conartists for who they really are. BEWARE of (((REDACTED))) anything and everythig to do with (((REDACTED))).

My father could have been taken for a fool and been conned out of what he deserved for his home, due to his circumstances. I know this is only a small dent i can make in a much bigger issue but I could not live with myseldf if i did not share my experience and hopefully save someone else and/or their loved one from being preyed upon. Save yourself alot of sick feeling and find a company with a reputable and trustworthy reputation. Trust your instincts. This guy is a RIPOFF. How is he still allowed to be doing business? its very discouraging for us as a community. I am thankful there are platforms used for people to have a voice like this, no matter how small the voice may be. I hope my report saves just one person from the helpless feeling of doing business with this guy.
